SOMEBODY FIX THE PLOT SUMMARY!!![edit]

I tried putting this on the page, but it got deleted. THE PLOT SUMMARY ON THIS PAGE IS TERRIBLE! It introduces story-vital terms without giving you a CLUE what they are, it is about twice the length of the article, and it was cleary written by a Sonic fanboy, the stupidest creatures in the universe. Comfirmed?![edit]

Sonic riders 2 has pretty much been confirmed,however it still depend if Ebgames is wrong which i doubt. Sonic Rivals 2 was found in the same way,now lets wait a few days before Sega officialy confirm this,mainwhile this article is staying like this.HolyNightmare 22:39, 7 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

It'd be great if you did not add the old "Sonic Riders 2 for Xbox 360 and PS3" information to this article, as it's no longer relevant. No 360 or PS3 version has been mentioned in any of the current media even at all. This is for PS2 and Wii until stated otherwise and rumors are not to be posted in the article. Thank you. New Name?... Again?! and Release details[edit]

Earlier this month Sonic Channel set up the official site for Sonic Diders "2", but the logo, page, and url read "Sonic Riders: Shooting Star Story. Could this be another new name, or prehaps the Japanese exclusive name? > http://sonic.sega.jp/riders/ShootingStarStory/

Also, the page ONLY mentions a Wii release, not PS2. It even says it on the Sonic Channel Hompage > http://sonic.sega.jp/

I agree, it looks identical to Silver, but it's still unconfirmed (no matter how much it looks like him).
But Billy and Cream are totally unofficial at this point. Cream is 99.9% sure to be in, but it's still speculation. And I have checked out the SS boards. Please just wait for news for the game. Qestion, I have not heard of Sonic Stadium.com before, was it made by Sega or one of the games makers? If not then it just fan site and I wouldn't trust it if I were you. Monopole or Molecurpea?[edit]

I noticed someone changed the name of the city where the game takes place on here, but a google search for "Monopole" relating to Sonic Riders 2 turned up nothing. I'm not really sure if information given from a game's website or the manuals would be given more priority than anything stated in the game, especially considering the Sonic series's history of conflicting storylines and information in manuals, and the whole "Wave is smarter than Tails and Eggman" fiasco when the character section for the first Sonic Rider's game site came out. Hmm, well, I guess if it's the only sort of information available... In game, in the cutscene shown before you start the Nightside Rush level in Babylon Story, Storm shows Jet a news story, with the reporter saying that a MeteorTech robot stole an Ark of the Cosmos from the Megalo City Museum. Other than that, there isn't any other mention of Megalo City or the Molecurpea and Monopole names anywhere else in the game. Does anybody with some knowledge of Japanese know if they refer to the city's name on the official Japanese game site?

Also, the main article refers to Burning Blaze, Super Shadow, Super Silver, and a form called Grav Jet being available when you use the Chaos Emerald gear. Sounds too good to be true...so, is it? -happyaggro 4.224.180.220 (talk) 22:05, 22 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I'm hearing a rumor that the Babylon Rouges are actually aliens. Is this true? I don't have the game, so I can't confirm. If so, shouldn't it be added to the Story section, or at least be added to the Babylon Rouge's article?

Excessive Length/Detail[edit]

For the record, some users continue to add excessive details to this article. Wikipedia is NOT the area for huge, long, play by play story/plot summaries. Save that stuff for Gamefaqs or something. It doesn't belong here, especially for a racing game, where the main draw/focus is certainly not the story. This isn't Mass Effect or Final Fantasy 7, its a mascot based racing game.

Secondly, Wikipedia is not a game guide. You're not supposed to write detailed instructions like an instruction manual. Again, that's best saved for a website like gamefaqs or something. Sergecross73 msg me 17:31, 9 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry about extra stuff[edit]

If you're finding extra stuff that are completely unecessary, please note that most of it is my fault, cause I'm a bit... well, let's just say I just really like the game, so I know a bit too much. I will admit that I put too much concerning the plot, and the descriptions for the character gears. I really like almost every Sonic game, even the ones people say are bad, so I study them a lot. Plus, I point out the obvious a lot, so that stuff is also completely useless and everyone would know that stuff. Please thank the last person responsible for edits for removing the stuff.

I will complain that this article lacks pictures, and definetly needs some.
