Al-Harith ibn Surayj[edit]

Created/expanded by Cplakidas (talk). Self nom at 22:45, 26 November 2012 (UTC)

  • Not yet. Length, date verified. All paragraphs have refs. Alls refs are acceptable. No close paraphrasing issues. Well-written article. QPQ done. Couldn't figure out which ref verifies the hook and which sentence in the article states specifically what's in the hook; help. --Rosiestep (talk) 23:22, 27 November 2012 (UTC)
Well, the hook does not refer to a single sentence, rather it encapsulates the entire second paragraph. I've been allowed to do that in the past, but if you don't feel OK with it, give me a bit to think of another hook. Cheers, Constantine 23:59, 27 November 2012 (UTC)
Hello. What the reviewer needs to be able to say is "yes, this reference(s) verifies this hook" and I just wasn't able to clear that hurdle. Will wait for an ALT hook. --Rosiestep (talk) 01:02, 28 November 2012 (UTC)
How about if I modify the hook to: "that al-Harith ibn Surayj led a wide-scale rebellion in Khurasan in the 730s aiming to establish a "just government resembling that of the Prophet and the first Caliphs"?". Otherwise I suggest ALT1: "that the followers of the rebel al-Harith ibn Surayj tried to persuade their opponents to join them through moral and religious arguments even during battles?" • ALT1 verified. Good to go. --Rosiestep (talk) 18:08, 28 November 2012 (UTC)
