CO149 at work

Greetings! My name is Chris Osburn, and I exist at the forefront of a time line that started February 7, 1964. I spent a short time in the United States Marine Corps followed by a short time at The Colorado College. After that I worked in several computing and networking occupations. This sub-thread of my life ended as a network manager at Speakeasy Cafe and Network, an internet cafe that morphed into a large, independent internet service provider. I then underwent a drastic career change and drove trolley buses in Seattle, Washington. Had enough of that, now taking some time off to see what's next for me.

My current interests center around mathematical instruments, particularly slide rules and calculators, and I maintain a small website listing my current collection. I also occasionally dabble in amateur radio, work with VMS, read and (attempt to) write.

Current time constraints preclude a great deal of participation. I hope that will change in the future. Right now I mostly stomp out typos.
