I'm a journalist and broadcaster, originally from here and now living here and working here.

I also went to boarding schools here, here and here, and college here.

My main field of interest, and, I like to think, expertise, is the history of Radio Broadcasting in the UK and Ireland, especially offshore radio.

Other interests include family history, football (soccer), shipping and most forms of music and musical theatre.
