List of Sunshine Coast Schools

A tag has been placed on List of Sunshine Coast Schools, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because it is an article about a certain website, blog, forum, or other web content that does not assert the importance or significance of that web location. Please read our criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 7 under Articles, as well as notability guidelines for websites. Please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources which verify their content.

Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on Talk:List of Sunshine Coast Schools. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Thanks. NeilN 03:15, 16 July 2007 (UTC)

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did to Kevin Rudd. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. Recurring dreams 03:57, 4 September 2007 (UTC)

Protection templates

Please don't add or change protection templates unless they actually do reflect the state of the page.Only administrators have the technical capability to protect pages, and the templates should merely reflect the current status. Changing the template does not, in itself, change the protection of the page. — TKD::Talk 01:31, 6 September 2007 (UTC)

Kevin Rudd

Please stop. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, you will be blocked from editing. BigHaz - Schreit mich an 23:28, 11 September 2007 (UTC)

Homosexuality

This is your last warning.
The next time you vandalize Wikipedia, as you did to Homosexuality, you will be blocked from editing. --NeilN 03:12, 12 September 2007 (UTC)

User pages

Please note that you do not own your userpages, and if it appears appropriate to restore warnings which you have deleted then they will be restored. While it is accepted that you have a fair measure of freedom on your pages, deletion of vandalism warnings is not approved of. --Anthony.bradbury"talk" 22:38, 13 September 2007 (UTC)

You have been indefinitely blocked from editing in accordance with Wikipedia's blocking policy for vandalism ,harassment, incivility, and disruption. If you believe this block is unjustified you may contest this block by adding the text {{unblock|your reason here}} below. Mr.Z-man 22:40, 13 September 2007 (UTC)

Request reason:

G'day everyone. First, I sort of saw this block coming but I had actually stoped editig pages un contructivly TWO days ago. Although I did edit some pages such as Kevin Rudd and someother guys page, I do not understand thow I could have edited Homosexuality. Please check my history, I have had to change my password in the past couple of days because of my friend had hacked my password on my home computer. I understand, this is hard to prove, but I am telling the truth but who ever is reading this, I have not made unconstuctive edits for the past 2 days because of the Final Warning. May I please also add that I did not know that I could not delete content from my own page. No one had told me that I could not do this so how was I ment to know? I am willing to compromise. If you lift the indifinent block, could you block me for 30 days then when the block expires, watch me closley. Please Wikipedia, I started and only ever made construtive edits, then my friedns dared me to do stupid things, then my friend hacked into my home computer. I am a very knowledgeable person. I can ad a lot to your encyclopedia. Please consider this and I am more than willing to have full co-operation with you folks. My only wish is to lift this indifinent block, I dont care if im still blocked for a year, just please lift this indifinite block. Thank you. If you do lift this ban to a week, I will dontate $50 to Wikipedia. Aflumpire 01:16, 14 September 2007 (UTC)

Decline reason:

Absolutely not. Just a quick perusal of your edit history is more than enough. — Jmlk17 01:46, 14 September 2007 (UTC)

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

We hear this a lot. This one feels true. If unblocking is a mistake, we'll find out soon enough.

I honestly think this user might be telling the truth. Look at his earlier contributions — it's like, well, two different people. --Haemo 05:16, 14 September 2007 (UTC)

Thankyou SOOO much. I was not expecting this but thankyou. I have changed my password to something that no one that I know could guess and my computer no longer remembers it. Thankyou!

Rebuttle

Excuse ME! I did not vandalise FITE DEOMS page. He was continually vandalising and blanking others pages. Check my history out (after my un blocking) and his accounts. Thankyou Aflumpire 03:01, 17 September 2007 (UTC)

Quick Comment

I took care of User:FITE DEMOND for you... a block. Just as a note, please be sure that you're leaving the warnings on the User talk page, rather than the user page. Thanks for your work w/the 'pedia! - Philippe | Talk 03:15, 17 September 2007 (UTC)

Request for adminship

Hello - while your willingness to help is appreciated, I have removed your RfA from the page. With under 230 edits to your name, there is no chance that you will be accepted as experienced enough with Wikipedia for your application to pass. I suggest carrying on doing good editing, fixing and reporting vandalism, and apply again when you've got a lot more experience under you belt. Best, ELIMINATORJR 09:30, 17 September 2007 (UTC)

  • Hi - there's no real lower limit for edits, but it is very rare for a user with less than 2,000-2,500 edits to pass RfA. Also, people look for a range of edits - creating articles, contributing at RfA and AfD, vandal fighting etc. Good luck, ELIMINATORJR 19:49, 17 September 2007 (UTC)

Bettie Page

The post career section is too small to be left on its own and is rather redundant when viewed against the 'Years out of the spot light'. I strongly feel that the two should be merged to help improve the page: FLJuJitsu —Preceding signed but undated comment was added at 03:16, 18 September 2007 (UTC)

Re: warning

Copyrighted pages are allowed to be blanked and marked with a copyvio tag. See WP:CP#Instructions. Thanks. Spellcast 09:31, 18 September 2007 (UTC)

No worries. If you're recent changes patrolling, I can understand ;) Spellcast 09:34, 18 September 2007 (UTC)

Excuse me

But I removed a copy of an entire article from a website on PRR Odd D 10003, which was a copyright violation. Please take a closer look at an edit and edit summary before you revert it next time. --ÐeadΣyeДrrow (Talk|Contribs) 10:55, 18 September 2007 (UTC)

Your recent edits

Hi, there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. On many keyboards, the tilde is entered by holding the Shift key, and pressing the key with the tilde pictured. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot 00:42, 19 September 2007 (UTC)

Air Forec One revert

Please don't take my reversion personally. Trivia references have really gotten out of hand, and recently when the split-off article AF One in Popular Culture was deleted through AfD it became apparent that there is wide-spread consensus that non-notable pop culture references don't belong in these articles. About the only one that would belong would be the movie AF1, because the aircraft played such a central role. The airplane itself did not play a major, central role in 24. And, the text of what you actually wrote implies that the actual real AF1 was used in the TV show, which would be so unusual that you'd need a clear, major reference to cite. However, despite all the above, I'm sure you disagree with me, so if you do, I'd suggest posting a proposal on the article's talk page and see if there's a consensus of other editors (after all, I'm just one voice here) feel the 24 appearance is notable enough to be included. AKRadeckiSpeaketh 13:13, 20 September 2007 (UTC)

Well, he did one good thing

He fixed a spelling error on your userpage ViperSnake151 01:26, 9 October 2007 (UTC)

This user has been blocked anyways (but I assume then he is not the one who has been copy/paste stuff from your page), but a page cannot be block against one user only, if fully protected, it is unaccessible for all users except administrators, if semi'd all unregistered users cannot edit your page. Also, only administrators can block an account, so a user like you cannot prevent another user to edit yours except if you request a protection and full protection of user pages are not encouraged according to the policy (or I should I say that in that page it doesn't mention that user pages can be fully protected.--JForget 23:54, 9 October 2007 (UTC)

Speedy deletion

The article (actually a stub) on which you placed the note for speedy deletion is part of the Rivers Project and is consistent with the requirements of the project. At present I am working on the information for rivers of Romania and there are thousands of articles with the basic information for which you object, with the corresponding links. The information is being updated during the completion of the project. Actually what you are suggesting implies the deletion of all these articles. This is of course possible, but be aware that it deletes the result of ten months of work. I suggest that the issue be discussed before taking drastic measures. Sincerely Afil 22:21, 9 October 2007 (UTC)

Vandalism

I strongly object to your comments about the vandalism. You have not commented in any way on the Wiki Rivers project and why you raise questions only regarding a single article. There have been discussions on these articles and no objections on the articles has been raised until now. I definetely do not understand your point of vue. Afil 22:29, 9 October 2007 (UTC)

Sorry to have upset you. What on earth is a rant? Anyway I had no intention of doing something wrong. Please accept my appologies, even if I don't know what a rant is and let's close this discussion. Afil 02:15, 10 October 2007 (UTC)

No need to apologize!

If you can clean up those articles, bring the style in line with the site's standards and better establish the notability of the subject, by all means please do so. With all the really insincere stuff that comes across from users with no prior history, good users sometimes get squashed in the rush to keep the site's integrity when something unreferenced comes down the pike. Good luck and thanks for not flying off the handle. - PMDrive1061 03:12, 10 October 2007 (UTC)

Re: Please Stop

What are you talking about? Wikipedia:Redirect says it is acceptable to create redirect pages from misspellings of article titles pointing to the appropriate article. I'm not trying to sell anything on Wikipedia. Please remember to sign talk pages with four tildes like this - ~~~~. Jecowa 07:51, 10 October 2007 (UTC)

Are you an umpire in the Australian Football League, or an umpire for Australian rules football? Daniel 08:28, 10 October 2007 (UTC)

Your recent RfA

I have closed your Request for Adminship early as unsuccessful - unfortunately it no longer had a chance of succeeding. You simply do not yet have enough experience of Wikpedia and especially of admin related areas. Your recent block is also a factor that most will feel disqualifies you from adminship at this time. I hope you will not be too put off and will continue contributing - your edits here (with the exception of those that resulted in that block) are welcome and appreciated.
