Don't start

It has been settled that Woohoo is the second single from Bionic. Remove information and you will be blocked. Candyo32 23:20, 18 July 2010 (UTC)

No Woohoo is not the second single from Bionic and there is no proof that it is. Her label does not say that and she does not say that. (Cprice1000 19:49, 22 July 2010 (UTC))

It doesn't matter if her label did not state it. It was released to rhythmic radio as the second single. see. I have no clue why you nominated a long, WP:GAN article to be merged. Candyo32 20:21, 22 July 2010 (UTC)

Rhythmic airplay does not make as several songs that are not singles are serviced to rhythmic airplay such as Britney Spear's I Got That Boom Boom. It can be shortened and merged since it is only a promo single. (Cprice1000 21:03, 22 July 2010 (UTC))

Songs like Woohoo are also often sent to rhythmic airplay as promotional singles before they are given a separate single release. Woohoo was given that specific treatment but did not perform well so they are dropping it becoming the second single and leaving it as a US only promo. (Cprice1000 21:03, 22 July 2010 (UTC))

Radio add dates are how US-only singles are determined. It is the only way because the song cannot be re-released to digital download. Candyo32 22:17, 22 July 2010 (UTC)

Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions, including your edits to Jennifer Lopez. However, please be aware of Wikipedia's policy that biographical information about living persons must not be libelous. Any controversial statements about a living person added to an article, or any other Wikipedia page, must include proper sources. If you don't know how to cite a source, you may want to read Wikipedia:Referencing for beginners for instructions. Thank you. all of the sources say though it has yet to be confirmed by Jennifer Lopez (and her representatives) and by Fox therefore nothing is yet official Lil-unique1 (talk) 02:25, 31 July 2010 (UTC)

Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Honorific nicknames in popular music, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear constructive, and has been reverted. Please make use of the sandbox if you'd like to experiment with test edits. Thank you. Rodhullandemu 16:16, 6 August 2010 (UTC)

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Honorific nicknames in popular music, you may be blocked from editing. The issue here is not how long someone has been around or how many records they have solrd; it's whether reliable sources have applied a label to them, in in the case of Lady GaGa, they seem to have done so. This is a common error on this article, but if you think the sources are incorrectly cited, please feel free to discuss on the talk page, but don't get your hopes up. Thanks. Rodhullandemu 18:09, 6 August 2010 (UTC)

Moves of your pages

Userspace pages and article space pages are different, and should be kept separate. Accordingly, I have reverted your recent moves, because they make no sense. Please don't do anything like that again. Cheers. Rodhullandemu 01:17, 9 August 2010 (UTC)

A tag has been placed on Beckah Shae requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a band or musician, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for musical topics. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag - if no such tag exists then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hangon tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. File source and copyright licensing problem with File:Beckahshae.jpg

File Copyright problem
File Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading File:Beckahshae.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, we also need to know the terms of the license that the copyright holder has published the file under, usually done by adding a licensing tag. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Unsourced and untagged files may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the file will be deleted 48 hours after 23:55, 20 August 2010 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Eeekster (talk) 23:55, 20 August 2010 (UTC)

Britney Spears

I didn't make any vandalism on the article. Your latest revision made it worse. Skitut Master (talk) 21:56, 21 August 2010 (UTC)

Mister/Mistress Cprinceonethousand, my contribution looks better. Please look what you have done on the article. You've broken the appearance. Skitut Master (talk) 22:02, 21 August 2010 (UTC)

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Britney Spears. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24-hour period. Additionally, users who perform several reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. When in dispute with another editor you should first try to discuss controversial changes to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. Should that prove unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection. If the edit warring continues, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Eeekster (talk) 22:10, 21 August 2010 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free image File:Woohoo.jpg

Hi Cprice1000. I noticed you created a Requests for Adminship page some time ago; I was wondering as to what the status of that request might be. I think it's fair to warn you that new users are rarely successful at RfA and that the Wikipedia editing community sets very high standards for editors running for adminship. That being said, I strongly urge you to read WP:GRFA, User:Davidwr/Administration is not for new users, and WP:NOTNOW, and ask you to reconsider whether you really do wish to go through with your candidacy; please understand that you stand very little to no chance of passing RfA at this point and that you are strongly discouraged from running for adminship. If you are still intent on running for adminship with that RfA and are absolutely positive this is what you want, please do let me know; otherwise, I'll go ahead and delete the RfA page for you in about a week or so from today. Problems with upload of File:Unusualyoubritney.jpg

Thanks for uploading File:Unusualyoubritney.jpg. You don't seem to have said where the image came from, who created it, or what the copyright status is. We require this information to verify that the image is legally usable on Wikipedia, and because most image licenses require giving credit to the image's creator.

To add this information, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the information to the image's description. If you need help, post your question on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions.

Orphaned non-free media (File:Britney_spears_unusual_you.jpg)

Thanks for uploading File:Britney_spears_unusual_you.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Melesse (talk) 01:06, 19 September 2010 (UTC)

Replaceable fair use File:Sky_Ferreira_"One"_promo.jpg

Thanks for uploading File:Sky_Ferreira_"One"_promo.jpg. I noticed the description page specifies that the media is being used under a claim of fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first non-free content criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed media could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information or which could be adequately covered with text alone. If you believe this media is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the media description page and edit it to add {{di-replaceable fair use disputed}}, without deleting the original replaceable fair use template.
  2. On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per our non-free content policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Melesse (talk) 19:04, 19 September 2010 (UTC)

Nomination of TBA (Sky Ferreira album) for deletion

A discussion has begun about whether the article TBA (Sky Ferreira album), which you created or to which you contributed, should be deleted. While contributions are welcome, an article may be deleted if it is inconsistent with Wikipedia policies and guidelines for inclusion, explained in the deletion policy.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/TBA (Sky Ferreira album) until a consensus is reached, and you are welcome to contribute to the discussion.

You may edit the article during the discussion, including to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion template from the top of the article. Fixer23 (talk) 22:37, 22 September 2010 (UTC)

A tag has been placed on Myah Marie requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles – see the Article Wizard.

Unusual You

Stop recreating this. You've attempted to do so more than once at Unusual You, and it has been reverted and redirected repeatedly per a consensus at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Unusual You. Do not try to work around it by making it with an altered title, as you did at Unusual You (Song). Capitalizing "song" goes against WP's style guideline anyway. Note that I also explained this to you as a response to your contribution to this discussion. - eo (talk) 20:13, 25 October 2010 (UTC)

Do not assume I made the page because I edited it the most. The page was not created by me. I was just making it notable. ALSO the discussion said the song could have its own article once it was released as a single. Unusual You did have a single release so the article was fine. --Cprice1000talk2me 21:54, 25 October 2010 (UTC)

Unusual You recreation

WP:NSONGS: "Most songs do not rise to notability for an independent article and should redirect to another relevant article, such as for the songwriter, a prominent album or for the artist who prominently performed the song. Songs that have been ranked on national or significant music charts, that have won significant awards or honors or that have been independently released as a recording by several notable artists, bands or groups are probably notable."

Unusual You doesn't meet this criteria. The fact that 'it was a single' (which I don't think it was) is not enough for it to have its own page. Xwomanizerx (talk) 02:40, 31 October 2010 (UTC)

A physical singles chart is not 'national or significant'. Xwomanizerx (talk) 13:10, 31 October 2010 (UTC)

This is your last warning; the next time you violate Wikipedia's no original research policy by inserting unpublished information or your personal analysis into an article, as you did at Circus (Britney Spears album), you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Your opinion on whether it was a "limited" or "promo" release or not is frankly not welcomed here. Talk:Madonna
