Redirect piping[edit]

Hey Dozed Off! Your name has repeatedly popped up in my watchlist over the past couple of days and I'm really enjoying the quality of your edits, regardless of their size. One thing that I noticed, though, is that you like to "bridge" pages that are linked via redirects (in a recent example, "Ubisoft Reflections" over "Reflections Interactive") by piping the redirect's name over the target page's name. This is not bad per se, but it technically violates our WP:NOTBROKEN guideline. Reasons why we shouldn't do that vary depending on opinion, but you can find a comprehensive pros/cons list on the guideline's page. You can make of that what you will but I hope you take it into consideration. Kind regards, Lordtobi () 23:29, 6 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

[1] Hi, "macOS" is not a typo. It's the capitalization we use. czar 17:47, 14 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

ArbCom 2019 election voter message[edit]

Hello! Voting in the 2019 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 on Monday, 2 December 2019. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2019 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:24, 19 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
