Your contributed article, Cinderella (2021 soundtrack)[edit]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Hello, I noticed that you recently created a new page, Cinderella (2021 soundtrack). First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as you. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page – Cinderella (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack). Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will continue helping to improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at Cinderella (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack). If you have new information to add, you might want to discuss it at the article's talk page.

If you think the article you created should remain separate, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. BOVINEBOY2008 20:48, 9 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

August 2021[edit]

Information icon Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give a page a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into Cinderella (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack). This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.

In most cases for registered users, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Requests for history merge. Thank you. Thanks. Please help delete the mistaken pages.--H9v9n9 (talk) 23:09, 9 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I've tagged it for speedy deletion. It should be done soon and then you can move the article to the correct title. BOVINEBOY2008 23:11, 9 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you so much! The problem of moving to the correct title Cinderella (2021 film) is successfully solved now.--H9v9n9 (talk) 10:36, 10 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Great! In the future, if you need help moving page for whatever reason, you can go to WP:RM to request a move. BOVINEBOY2008 11:31, 10 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Non-free rationale for File:Zach Bryan - I Remember Everything featuring Kacey Musgraves.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Zach Bryan - I Remember Everything featuring Kacey Musgraves.jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under non-free content criteria, but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia is acceptable. Please go to the file description page, and edit it to include a non-free rationale.

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified the non-free rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described in section F6 of the criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. File source and copyright licensing problem with File:Tate McRae - Exes.jpg[edit]

File Copyright problem
File Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading File:Tate McRae - Exes.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status and its source. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously.

If you did not create this work entirely yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the page from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of the website's terms of use of its content. If the original copyright holder is a party unaffiliated with the website, that author should also be credited. You will also need to state under what licensing terms it was released. Please refer to the image use policy to learn what files you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. The page on copyright tags may help you to find the correct tag to use for your file.

Please add this information by editing the image description page. If the necessary information is not added within the next seven days, the image will be deleted. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.

Please also check any other files you may have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. --Minorax«¦talk¦» 14:28, 19 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Do not edit cover artworks[edit]

The cover artwork for Like Crazy (song) that you replaced is clearly an image that you have edited by cropping, which is not an acceptable thing to do on Wikipedia. You cited this as the source, but as you can see, that image has a whole gray background and the disc included in the case behind the cover, meaning you have zoomed into that image and cropped out the background and the disc, which you are not supposed to do to cover artworks on Wikipedia. You need to cite an official source that is only the front cover, not one that you have edited from a website. Until and unless you can find an official source (not an eBay item, something on Twitter or an unofficial link) that uses just the front cover, not something you got from this, then I'm replacing it. If you revert, I will inform an administrator. Do better and don't crop images. The whole point of citing where you got the image from is to show it's the same.
