Guinness Premiership[edit]

Well, it's a commonly accepted principle over at WP:FOOTY to not use sponsored names for competitions, especially if that competition has had multiple sponsored names in the past, like the Guinness Premiership/Zurich Premiership/Allied Dunbar Premiership/Courage League has, so I thought it would be a good practice to bring over to the Rugby Union project. I have performed similar moves on the Heineken Cup and Magners League articles. – PeeJay 10:18, 5 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I can't really complain about Heineken Cup being located where it is, as it has never actually been known by any unsponsored name (although it is run by an organisation called "European Rugby Cup", which leads me to believe that may be the Heineken's unsponsored name). As for the others, the Magners League has only had that name for the last two years, before which it was known as the Celtic League, while the Guinness Premiership has had no fewer than four sponsored names in its history, and many people simply know it as the Premiership. You do the math =D – PeeJay 17:18, 5 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Living people[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions, including your edits to Martin Gleeson. However, please be aware of Wikipedia's policy that biographical information about living persons must not be libelous. Any controversial statements about a living person added to an article, or any other Wikipedia page, must include proper sources. Thank you.--John (talk) 15:07, 9 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

See Wikipedia:Categorization of people for details on how to do this correctly. You need to insert the text to the article supporting the categorization, and also provide a valid reference in the article (not in an edit summary). Best, --John (talk) 18:19, 9 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Templates[edit]

Hey I noticed you've been working on a few navbox templates. Have you noticed how current squad navbox templates have a field for bordercolour which allows us to use a 3rd colour? I've been racking my brains trying to figure out how to get that border colour field onto other navboxes but I can't. Have you tried figurin that out yet? Any luck? There must be a way to get it to apply to all navboxes.--Jeff79 (talk) 07:57, 13 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, looks like anything current. Current league, soccer and union squads all have the 3rd colour. Bummer. I think it'd be useful.--Jeff79 (talk) 08:37, 13 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
