May 2020[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Secret Love (Doris Day song) has been reverted.
Your edit here to Secret Love (Doris Day song) was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links in references which are discouraged per our reliable sources guideline. The reference(s) you added or changed (https://www.discogs.com/fr/master/view/1377445) is/are on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia.
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 10:12, 21 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

September 2020[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Toddst1. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, December 8, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. The source you cited does not support that release date. Toddst1 (talk) 17:11, 30 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

October 2020[edit]

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Deviating from this style, as you did in California Dreamin', disturbs uniformity among articles and may cause readability or accessibility problems. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Jessicapierce (talk) 01:33, 10 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for October 22[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Cass Elliot (album), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Baby I'm Yours. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 06:27, 22 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Again, please read the Manual of Style, and please take care to cover the basics, such as punctuation. Your contributions shouldn't require others to step in and add periods to the ends of sentences, for example.
More importantly, in this case, the content about the Carol Burnett Show appearance was just trivia that did not belong in the article's intro. Jessicapierce (talk) 18:12, 22 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I have removed your additions to The Mamas & the Papas (album), because we generally don't collect that level of trivia/minutiae here.

In addition, you really, really need to pay more attention to punctuation and other errors. Sentences need periods at the end of them, and you need to be using spellcheck. Phrases like "among other compositions of the laters" make no sense at all. Please glance over the Manual of Style, as I've asked several times. It covers many basic errors you keep making. One big one is that on Wikipedia, album titles and tv shows should be put in italics, while "smaller" works like song and episode titles need quote marks.

Your contributions here are welcome, but if you're only going to add minutiae filled with errors, you are wasting your own time. As always, please let me know if I can help. A reply would be appreciated. Thanks, Jessicapierce (talk) 16:55, 28 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
