Disambiguation link notification for November 13[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Conjecture, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Brute force (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 07:57, 13 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Yes sir DPL bot! You're absolutely right. Not sure how I didn't see it. I've redirected the same link to the Proof by Exhaustion page. Thank you! Miaumee (talk) 16:57, 13 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hello![edit]

Hi, just wanted to pop in and say that I love your work. Great edits you've been making!

If you're interested in a bit of a challenge, https://tools.wmflabs.org/enwp10/cgi-bin/list2.fcgi?run=yes&projecta=Mathematics&importance=Top-Class&quality=C-Class lists all the top priority math articles that are C class (and nothing is lower than that, so these need the most work). I know that infinity is on that list, and given your edits on actual infinity, I bet you could do wonders with that article.

But if not, I think what you're doing is already great! Brirush (talk) 16:12, 13 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@Brirush: Wow. Interesting list. I'll put infinity in my to-do list, but given the comprehensiveness of the article it's probably going to be a hell of a ride! Miaumee (talk) 17:04, 13 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

"duplicate spaces"[edit]

Duplicate spaces after the end of a sentence are not something you should mess with. Many editors prefer the extra spacing in the source to make it easier to find the sentence breaks. And if you could use more sensible edit summaries, rather than your standard long one, that could go a long way to making your edits easier to check and appreciate. Dicklyon (talk) 02:27, 23 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Dicklyon Yeah. To be honest the double spacing is something I struggle with. Some of them are mindless errors, while others are deliberate styling choices. While I have no problem either way, it does create room for inconsistency when 80% of an article adopt single-spacing. I do agree that I can make use of better summary description though. This is something I tend to overlook when I'm typing nonstop.

Disambiguation link notification for September 2[edit]

@DPL bot Fixed!

Edit summaries[edit]

Repetitive and long summaries are noted. See WP:ESL for abbreviations commonly used to keep summaries short. The standard phrases used repeatedly are unnecessary. Compare your summaries to others to see their extremity. — Rgdboer (talk) 05:00, 9 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Rgdboer Thanks. Will take a look. Should come in handy. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Miaumee (talkcontribs) 21:54, 9 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
