हिन्दू पुरोहित संघ[edit]

This is the English-language Wikipedia, and contributions should be in English. You can find the Hindi Wikipedia at https://hi.wikipedia.org/wiki/. JohnCD (talk) 14:08, 8 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I have moved the article to this simpler title - it doesn't need "NGO" on the end.

I have declined the speedy deletion nomination but, if it is to be kept, the article needs a lot of work. Most importantly, Wikipedia has a test for inclusion called Wikipedia:Notability, which is not a matter of opinion but has to be demonstrated by showing "significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject." Significant means more than just listing-type mentions; reliable excludes Myspace, Facebook, blogs, places where anyone can post anything; independent excludes the subject's own website, affiliated ones and anything based on press releases. The test is, have people not connected with the subject thought it significant enough to write substantial comment about? Unless you can soon add independent references to show notability, the article is likely to be nominated for deletion.

Also, Wikipedia is not a "notice-board" site like Facebook for people and organizations to "tell the world" about themselves, and that is what this article reads like. An encyclopedia article should be a description of the subject from outside, based on what other people say about the subject more than what the subject says about itself. See User:JohnCD/Not a noticeboard for more background, and WP:Your first article for advice on how to write an acceptable article.

Finally, Wikipedia requires a WP:Neutral point of view and is not for advocacy or promotion. If you are connected with the organization, you should read the Wikipedia:Plain and simple conflict of interest guide. JohnCD (talk) 14:27, 8 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

On second thoughts, I have moved this page into a "userspace draft" page where you can work on it. This is because if it stays in the main encyclopedia without any references it is very likely to be nominated for deletion, and because it seems likely that you are connected with the organization, so what you write should be reviewed by an independent user before it is posted in the main encyclopedia. When it is ready (which includes having independent references), clicking the "Submit" link will send it for review, where either it will be accepted or you will be given feedback. If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on SPARSH GLOBAL requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), web content or organised event, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. —C.Fred (talk) 04:01, 14 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there, I'm HasteurBot. I just wanted to let you know that Draft:Hindu Purohit Sangh, a page you created, has not been edited in 6 months. The Articles for Creation space is not an indefinite storage location for content that is not appropriate for articlespace.

If your submission is not edited soon, it could be nominated for deletion. If you would like to attempt to save it, you will need to improve it.

You may request Userfication of the content if it meets requirements.

If the deletion has already occured, instructions on how you may be able to retrieve it are available at WP:REFUND/G13.

Thank you for your attention. HasteurBot (talk) 01:33, 11 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Your draft article, Draft:Hindu Purohit Sangh[edit]

Hello, Ravi Paliya. It has been over six months since you last edited your WP:AFC draft article submission, entitled "Hindu Purohit Sangh".

The page will shortly be deleted. If you plan on editing the page to address the issues raised when it was declined and resubmit it, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}} or {{db-g13}} code. Please note that Articles for Creation is not for indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you want to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by one of two methods (don't do both): 1) follow the instructions at WP:REFUND/G13, or 2) copy this code: {{subst:Refund/G13|Draft:Hindu Purohit Sangh}}, paste it in the edit box at this link, and click "Save page". An administrator will in most cases undelete the submission.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. HasteurBot (talk) 02:01, 12 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
