Fair use rationale for Image:Sauga.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Sauga.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. Orphaned non-free media (Image:Sauga.jpg)[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Sauga.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 15:24, 20 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Iqaluit's record breaking summer[edit]

You recently updated Iqaluit's climate template to reflect the recent record breaking temperature, however this edit contradicts the citation for that template. Could you find a source (ie, CBC) to cite for the updated record and add that to the article? You can place it either beside the temperature or in the area on the bottom of the chart below the other citation. Visit the citation templates page if you need help formatting a reference. Thanks. :) vıdıoman 01:06, 24 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Please refrain from uploading disruptive images with no encyclopedic value, such as File:Bad romance screenshot.jpg. It is considered vandalism. Thank you. --Legolas (talk2me) 07:33, 16 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

June 2010[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. The project's content policies require that all articles be written from a neutral point of view, and not introduce bias or give undue weight to viewpoints. Please bear this in mind when making edits such as your recent edit to 2010 G-20 Toronto summit. You may also wish to read the introduction to editing. Thank you. Presto card updates[edit]

Hello, Singh001175. You have new messages at Talk:Presto card.

User page[edit]

I've taken the liberty of creating your user page. If I have added the wrong boxes - just remove them. Whenever I see a red user name making a contibution, I treat that edit with caution, because it is often an inexperienced editor or possibly a vandal. Whenever I see your name I know it is something to be trusted. I will try to get photos for some of the Mississauga bus terminals. Thank you for taking care of the Presto updates. Bus terminals[edit]

Many of the Mississauga bus terminals you have created articles for are actually just clusters of regular bus stops with very little physical infrastructure. The only "Transit Terminals" listed by MiWay in their online trip planner are City Centre, Meadowvale Town Centre, South Common and Westwood Mall. I would defend those articles against deletion. All the others would, at best, be better merged into the related destination article, like you have done with Trillium Health Centre and Credit Valley Hospital. I have merged Dixie mall. Most other bus terminals in Mississauga are actually at GO Stations, which I have added to the template. Secondarywaltz (talk) 22:44, 31 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I've added images to Meadowvale Town Centre, South Common Centre and Dixie Mall Bus Terminals. I have corrected the coordinates for Sheridan Centre Bus Terminal, which were out a long way. Where is the Erin Mills Town Centre Bus Terminal? Your coordinates land in the middle of a wooded area, and I can't see anything there that looks like a bus terminal. Secondarywaltz (talk) 22:14, 4 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  • Erin Mills Town Centre Bus Terminal

OK, now help me here. The coordinates for the Erin Mills Town Centre Bus Terminal, an article you created, are incorrect. I tried to find it on the ground, to fix that problem and take some photos, but I could not find anything that looked like a bus terminal. Can you help me locate it? July 2011[edit]

Thank you for your contributions. Please remember to mark your edits as "minor" only if they truly are minor edits. In accordance with Help:Minor edit, a minor edit is one that the editor believes requires no review and could never be the subject of a dispute. Minor edits consist of things such as typographical corrections, formatting changes, or rearrangement of text without modification of content. Additionally, the reversion of clear-cut vandalism and test edits may be labeled "minor". Thank you. Ng.j (talk) 07:54, 31 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hey, a little advice here.[edit]

I see you've "moved" Hurontario-Main Street LRT to Hurontario-Main LRT. You need to keep in mind that simply deleting all the text in one article and pasting it in a new one is not the proper way to move an article. Read up here on how to do it properly.

The history of the article you turned into a redirect was not moved to the next article, which is pretty important because it is essentially the "credits" section of an article.Brightgalrs (/braɪtˈɡæl.ərˌɛs/)[1] 05:56, 12 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for April 28[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Mississauga, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Toronto Township (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 11:47, 28 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Mississauga Transitway[edit]

If you wish to create articles for the new stations when they open, I have set up succession templates for the transitway. Please use the titles in the Category:Mississauga Transitway to make this work, which is the same naming convention as the Ottawa Transitway. Note that Dixie requires disambiguation and I have used Dixie Station (MiWay) since the stations in this section are owned by Mississauga and Infobox will use "style= MiWay", like you did for the bus terminals. For now I have created redirects to the table describing the stations in the Mississauga Transitway article. Winston Churchill, Erin Mills and Renforth Gateway will be GO Transit facilities, and since they are also under construction I will start working on them with references. The Infobox example given here is for Tomken Station and includes the irregular link to Dixie. Secondarywaltz (talk) 22:41, 7 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion of Westdale Mall Bus Terminal[edit]

The article Westdale Mall Bus Terminal has been proposed for deletion. The proposed deletion notice added to the article should explain why.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
