Disambiguation link notification for January 12[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Central administration, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Computer console (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Trio Hellenque[edit]

New to this site, thanks for your help. I have this info directly from the source, the leader of Trio Hellenique & also the official fanpage which I have added. Is this ok? Hope you can help out. FNikolaidis (talk) 16:41, 1 February 2014 (UTC)

I have a couple of recommendations:
  1. Use citations instead of external links; they are more visually appealing and more consistent.
  2. Find another source – a reliable source – that verifies information on the article.
If you want, leave a note here when you're done so I can remove the tag. Thank you, Spencer.mccormick (talk) 16:47, 1 February 2014 (UTC)

Thank you but the reliable source is the leader of Trio Hellenique, V.Nikolaidis himself that has given me this information. I am his daughter and the official facebook fanpage that I have given has been created by me with first hand info. Don't think it can get anymore reliable... Is this enough for you to approve? FNikolaidis (talk) 17:53, 1 February 2014 (UTC)

Unfortunately, we need a way of verifying the content. Perhaps a news article would do. Spencer.mccormick (talk) 17:55, 1 February 2014 (UTC)

FNikolaidis (talk) 18:05, 1 February 2014 (UTC)Would this link [1] to the album with photo's & article's be enough? & also when you look at this: you will notice I have the same last name as the leader as he is my dad & I am the admin of the pages mentioned on there. Hoping you can help me out. FNikolaidis (talk) 18:05, 1 February 2014 (UTC)

It would be nice to have – in addition to the references you have provided – a non-facebook reference. Spencer.mccormick (talk) 18:12, 1 February 2014 (UTC)

Thank you for your time & help! The photo album on facebook which I had uploaded is full of article's and pictures and are non-facebook related, it shows Trio Hellenique moments & article's. I can also provide you with a twitter page: and a youtube page: and this site we are in the process of setting up: also a google search will show many mentions of trio hellenique. Is this enough to verify the reliability? FNikolaidis (talk) 18:20, 1 February 2014 (UTC)

The reliability of the sources is questionable. However, I will remove the Proposed Deletion tag, replacing it with another tag that will not result in the deletion of your article in ten days. You should also consider reading the sections documentation; the article has some formatting issues. Spencer.mccormick (talk) 18:27, 1 February 2014 (UTC)

FNikolaidis (talk) 18:34, 1 February 2014 (UTC)Thank you will try to get the hang of this & also find some other sources and will try to add them. Appreciate your helpFNikolaidis (talk) 18:34, 1 February 2014 (UTC)

Remember, be bold, but not reckless or disruptive in your editing. Also, there's no need for you to learn all of this now, as you already have a project. I wish you good editing, Spencer.mccormick (talk) 18:46, 1 February 2014 (UTC)

FNikolaidis (talk) 19:55, 8 February 2014 (UTC)Had the chance to log in again today and it seems the page is up again for deletion? :( I thought you had fixed that. I am trying to enter the ref's correctly and asked help for that if maybe someone could enter them correctly for me? FNikolaidis (talk) 19:55, 8 February 2014 (UTC)

Ah, yes. It appears another editor added back the tag. As I had previously indicated, the Facebook references were deemed to be unreliable. I implore you: please find another non-Facebook reference, such as a news article, to reference the article. If you find one, I can add it to the article; simply drop it on my talk page. Syed Ahmad Barelvi[edit]

Hi new user here so trying to learn how to use this site. Regarding the article on syed ahmed barelvi the original article I found wasn't neutral it had terms like "brutal Sikh rule", "oppressive Sikh rule". There is no evidence for such remarks to be included in the article, and they are just subjective opinions by the previous barelvi biased article writer/editer. Therefore I added a little balance to the argument based on what I've read of this character syed barelvi — Preceding unsigned comment added by Truthspeaker84 (talkcontribs) 22:33, 5 July 2014 (UTC)

The wording felt a little unbalanced. Perhaps if you used more neutral wording instead of taking the opposite side, it would be more beneficial. For more information, see the guideline WP:NPOV. Thanks, Spencer.mccormick (talk) 01:03, 6 July 2014 (UTC)
