A kitten for you!

Thanks for warning an IP address, for predicting John Kerrey's Bob Kerry's death, but it looked to me like a death threat; see here. If you think I'm too harsh, you may undue my block.

Bearian (talk) 14:56, 23 October 2012 (UTC)

Hey, thanks for the notice. I personally took it as more of a case of stupid vandalism, given the death date occurring 22 years from now. I don't think I would overturn your block though (that being said, it'd be a cold day in hell before I ever thought of applying for the tools that would even let me overturn it). If you do think it was potentially a serious threat though, or maybe if you just want a different set of eyes more seasoned than mine to look at the block maybe you should take it to one of the administrator's noticeboards? Let me know what you decide!--Yaksar (let's chat) 17:25, 23 October 2012 (UTC)
Oh and just in case the issue extends any further I should note that it was Senator Bob Kerrey, not John Kerry. Thanks again.--Yaksar (let's chat) 17:25, 23 October 2012 (UTC)
LOL. I fixed that above. Bearian (talk) 21:18, 23 October 2012 (UTC)

Hi,

I just wanted to let you know that I replaced your prod tag on 2012 North Dakota Senate election with a db-g7 speedy deletion tag. Prod can't be used on redirects (as stated at WP:PROD). For deleting pages where you are the only contribtor, you should use speedy deletion criterion G7 (see WP:SPEEDY). Calathan (talk) 21:22, 23 October 2012 (UTC)

Oh ok, thanks for the help.--Yaksar (let's chat) 04:04, 24 October 2012 (UTC)

I've declined your speedy - it's the same person but not the same article. I think there's enough there to pass A7, too. Peridon (talk) 18:20, 3 December 2012 (UTC)

Ok, thanks for letting me know. I think I'm still going to put it up for AfD, since it was created just a day after the subject (by his pen name) was found to not be notable.--Yaksar (let's chat) 18:51, 3 December 2012 (UTC)
