WikiProject Led Zeppelin

Zoso.svg

Welcome to the Led Zeppelin WikiProject! We are a collaboration area and group of editors dedicated to improving Wikipedia's coverage of the English rock music band, Led Zeppelin (including Swan Song Records). This project aims to improve articles relating to Led Zeppelin, its members (Jimmy Page, Robert Plant, John Paul Jones, and John Bonham), side-projects (XYZ, The Firm, Coverdale & Page, and Page and Plant etc.), all Led Zeppelin songs and albums, and all other related people and topics. If you would like to help, please inquire on the talk page and/or see the to-do list.

Thirty years after disbanding following John Bonham's death in 1980, Led Zeppelin continue to be held in high regard for their artistic achievements, commercial success, and broad influence. The band have sold more than 300 million albums worldwide, including 111.5 million sales in the United States, and they are the only band to have had all their albums reach the U.S. Billboard Top 10. Led Zeppelin are ranked No. 1 on VH1's 100 Greatest Artists of Hard Rock. There is already a considerable number of articles about Led Zeppelin on Wikipedia, of varying levels of quality and depth. These range from Good Articles such as Led Zeppelin II down to stubs of the lowest quality. This project seeks to marshall the efforts of interested editors to improve and unify these articles and to raise the overall standard of Led Zeppelin coverage on Wikipedia. For more information on WikiProjects, please see Wikipedia:WikiProjects and Wikipedia:WikiProject best practices.
