Willi Ritschard

Willi Ritschard (sometimes Willy Ritschard, 28 September 1918 - 16 October 1983) was a Swiss politician and member of the Swiss Federal Council (1974-1983).
He was elected to the Federal Council of Switzerland on 5 December 1973 and died in office on 16 October 1983. He was affiliated with the Social Democratic Party.
During his time in office he held the following departments:
- Department of Transport, Communications and Energy (1974-1979)
- Federal Department of Finance (1980-1983)
He was President of the Confederation in 1978.
