Chief Ojo Maduekwe (born May 6, 1945 in Abia State, Nigeria is the current Foreign Minister of Nigeria. He was sworn into that position on July 26, 2007 under President Umaru Yar'Adua.[1] He is National Secretary of the ruling political party, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). Ojo previously served as the Minister of Transport in the administration of President Olusegun Obasanjo.
