The Lenni Lenape words for upland are Lenhacki [upland (barren highlands)], Linhakamike [upland], and Sagachgutteje (upper slopes of [not top of] a mountain). Lenni Lenape words beginning with the "ches" sound are: Ches (skin, leather), Chesimus (younger brother or sister), and Chessachgutakan (leather breeches).
