In this case, Hughes and Kosterlitz made the discovery in the 1970s and their name was enkephalin. Although PubMed lists a very small number of papers that use the name 'encephalin' this is an error, and there are over 20,000 citations that use the word enkephalin. Therefore, it is wrong to mention 'encephalin' as an alternative name in the Wikipedia entry. undo
