Instead, Socrates calls it "σωτηρία...φρονήσεως," the first word being the nominative form of the word for saving or preservation, the latter being the genitive form of the word for thoughtfulness. I'll admit that the latter word is a bit more difficult to translate, but thoughtfulness seems to be the most neutral or closest to the etymological origin of the word. undo
