Tsawwassen is a word from the Salish language and the T is silent. It is pronounced saa · wa · sn. The govt can't figure it out because they are bureaucrats and need an alphabet to make their decision. The Salish peoples did not have an alphabet for their language, and the govt will not accept verbal confirmation from the spoken language. undo Tag: Reverted
