I hope it's not true because you and Inside the Valley hardly edit alike, and you both respect Wiki policies. {{U|Bbb23}}, why did you block him without even opening a SPI page? [[User:Kailash29792|Kailash29792]] [[User talk:Kailash29792|(talk)]] 03:44, 28 November 2016 (UTC)

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. I remember you asking me to help you in copy-editing this article in October 2015. The article looks good now, and i think this is your first. All the best for your future endeavours. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 07:05, 3 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

A bowl of strawberries for you!

Congrats on your good work on Loham! Now Malayalam cinema has three GAs. Yippeee!!! JosephJames 07:57, 18 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
It had four (Bangalore Days got delisted). And I hope Drishyam wasn't blindly passed; I also hope Swayamvaram is still worthy of its status. Kailash29792 (talk) 08:13, 18 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks. And congrats for Drishyam, without you it wouldn't have passed. --Charles Turing (talk) 11:20, 18 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

For your FLC success with Kerala State Film Award for Best Actor. Kailash29792 (talk) 09:35, 18 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks Kailash. --Charles Turing (talk) 09:44, 18 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Meanwhile, Rajinikanth filmography (nominated by Vensatry ane me) is also a FLC, but has not gained many comments, and may be archived if there is no activity. You may post comments if you like. And all the best for the FLC success of the J. C. Daniel Award. Kailash29792 (talk) 09:47, 18 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Not done a FLC review yet. I have only watched his Baashha, Sivaji, and Enthiran (and partly Chandramukhi). But he is a well known celebrity I know through medias. Let me see if there is anything I can do, but please don't expect me. Good luck. --Charles Turing (talk) 10:18, 18 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hi! Could you please help me in making this a GA? I need your feedback on it. If you have any comments, please post them in the peer review, or edit the article yourself. And congrats for all the great work you are doing! I am sure Maheshinte Prathikaaram will be your next GA. Hoping you will help! JosephJames 13:57, 23 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I think it must be edited by the GOCE before it can be nominated. Kailash29792 (talk) 14:45, 23 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Good job. Glad someone is looking after our Malayalam actors' articles. It already looks good. May be I can help with some minor copyedit. Major edit suggestions I will leave it in the PR, you decide it. By the way, Filmibeat is not considered a reliable source by WP:ICTF, I didn't knew that until recently. I have used it in MP and now I am impelled to replace it. Atleast don't use it for contents which can be a subject of dispute. All the best for the GA. --Charles Turing (talk) 10:37, 24 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks a lot Charles! I have removed all Filmibeat sources.
Kailash29792: Will sent to them for sure.
Waiting for comments from both of you in the PR. JosephJames 12:23, 24 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Charles, Kailash29792: Could any of you please archive this link? [1] I have been trying for a long time, but it isn't working. JosephJames 05:17, 30 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Behold. Kailash29792 (talk) 05:46, 30 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Maheshinte Prathikaaram

Congratulations Turing for the GA success of Maheshinte Prathikaaram. What is your next projects. --202.88.250.125 (talk) 08:14, 2 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks. Priority is to improve film articles, if they have potential for a GA, they will be nominated.--Charles Turing (talk) 10:11, 2 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
That's great. I think Manichitrathazhu has great potential. Kailash29792 (talk) 11:08, 2 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
I had often thought about improving Manichitrathazhu. Major problem is that its reviews are unavailable.--Charles Turing (talk) 12:16, 2 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Action Hero Biju is developing by a user. 202.88.250.125 (talk) 17:22, 2 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
An IP user has made major changes to Maheshinte Prathikaaram. Instead of blindly reverting them, I think you can analyse whether his edits are valid and justifiable. Kailash29792 (talk) 05:18, 3 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
He is the same IP hopper (from Pathanamthitta, Kerala) who made repeated disruptive editing on Action Hero Biju. See its talk page. --Charles Turing (talk) 09:28, 3 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

DYK for Maheshinte Prathikaaram

On 4 September 2016, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Maheshinte Prathikaaram, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that the costumes in the film Maheshinte Prathikaaram were secondhand, bartered from local residents in exchange for new clothes? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Maheshinte Prathikaaram. You are welcome to check how many page hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, Maheshinte Prathikaaram), and it may be added to the statistics page if the total is over 5,000. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

If Malayalam cinema has gained a sufficient number of GAs/FAs/FLCs, I think a portal could be created and they could be stored there, just like Portal:Tamil cinema and Portal:Bollywood. Kailash29792 (talk) 13:09, 22 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Wow. Thanks for that information.--Charles Turing (talk) 13:11, 22 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Congratulations on your recent success. All the best for your future endeavours. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 13:43, 22 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Asian 10,000 Challenge invite

Hi. The Wikipedia:WikiProject Asia/The 10,000 Challenge has recently started, based on the UK/Ireland Wikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge and Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The 10,000 Challenge. The idea is not to record every minor edit, but to create a momentum to motivate editors to produce good content improvements and creations and inspire people to work on more countries than they might otherwise work on. There's also the possibility of establishing smaller country or regional challenges for places like South East Asia, Japan/China or India etc, much like Wikipedia:The 1000 Challenge (Nordic). For this to really work we need diversity and exciting content and editors from a broad range of countries regularly contributing. At some stage we hope to run some contests to benefit Asian content, a destubathon perhaps, aimed at reducing the stub count would be a good place to start, based on the current Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The Africa Destubathon which has produced near 200 articles in just three days. If you would like to see this happening for Asia, and see potential in this attracting more interest and editors for the country/countries you work on please sign up and being contributing to the challenge! This is a way we can target every country of Asia, and steadily vastly improve the encyclopedia. We need numbers to make this work so consider signing up as a participant! Thank you. --Ser Amantio di NicolaoChe dicono a Signa?Lo dicono a Signa. 01:27, 20 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Any future projects?

Good work in Pulimurugan and Oppam. Are you trying for a GA? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 202.88.250.107 (talk) 17:35, 10 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Yes. But there will be no rush. Thanks for the compliment. --Charles Turing (talk) 21:05, 10 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Langauges?

Hi Charles, re: this, the source is a bit vague--there doesn't seem to be a clear indication that the film is being produced in Tamil and Telugu--we wouldn't normally include dubs in the language parameter. Should we wait, or do you know something different than is in that article? Are they shooting in these languages? Thanks, Cyphoidbomb (talk) 09:48, 27 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

There is news that film is being made in Tamil and Telugu. There are other sources but not that much reliable. I think we can wait until a better specific source is available.--Charles Turing (talk) 10:07, 27 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
