== Userpage again ==

Macedonia, your recent additions to your userpage ([http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=User%3AMacedonia&diff=106767589&oldid=104243911]) are definitely over the top. I'll remind you again of the relevant policy: [[WP:USER]] states that:
* Extensive discussion not related to Wikipedia
* Extensive personal opinions on matters unrelated to Wikipedia,

cannot be hosted on your userpage and may be removed. I'd ask you to remove this content, otherwise the page may get deleted. I'll also remind you of the part of the policy that indicates userpages may be evaluated more strictly for users who otherwise contribute little or nothing to the project than for constructive contributors. It seems to me that for several weeks now your contributions have been almost exclusively centered on developing this user page. This is definitely not what Wikipedia is for. Revision as of 08:15, 9 February 2007

Your image uploads

Macedonia, re. your images:

You need to do the following:

  1. State the source where you got the image files from (I've done that for two of them already)
  2. Provide an explicit "fair use rationale" explaining why these images are needed, according to Wikipedia:Fair use.
  3. Remove these images from your userpage. Fair use images must never be used in userspace, but only in the particular articles for which "fair use" has been argued.

Please do this ASAP. Fut.Perf. 08:36, 15 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

P.S. Also, you need to remove Image:Vergina_sun.jpg, because it's also "fair use". Fut.Perf. 09:14, 15 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Ahem, just blanking the talk page, making one cosmetic change to the userpage and then not removing the images doesn't really help you very much. I'm going to remove the images from the userpage myself now, please don't put them back. Fut.Perf. 16:28, 15 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Skopje Airport

I'd appreciate your help in trying to change the name of the article to the right one. I have it changed back but it should only be a matter of time before they revert.

The picture

You still lie. You did not make this picture yourself.   /FunkyFly.talk_  01:58, 16 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Oh yes I did Macedonia 01:59, 16 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

You trimmed the picture from here: [1], and you know it you liar.   /FunkyFly.talk_  02:00, 16 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I am sorry, But that is a different image, not the same as the one I uploaded. Macedonia 02:01, 16 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

It is the same, it is trimmed, stop bullshitting.   /FunkyFly.talk_  02:02, 16 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
As I said that is a different image than the one I uploaded, just face it, you're going nowhere.Macedonia
You will be blocked for reverting, and for lying on picture licences.   /FunkyFly.talk_  02:06, 16 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
There is no reason why I should be blocked, your source clearly does not match my image.Macedonia 02:07, 16 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Next time you revert the description, you will break 3RR, and given your block history, you are in for a long one. So save your trouble and dont revert.   /FunkyFly.talk_  02:10, 16 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Ok, you just broke 3RR so I will report you now.   /FunkyFly.talk_  02:11, 16 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Blocked

Macedonia, for uploading another image with a false license claim (Image:Verginasun2.jpg), for edit-warring about that license claim, and for edit warring about fair use images on your userpage, I have no choice but to block you. You exceeded 3RR even before you decided you would leave out the three fair-use ones; then you created that new version of the vergina sun. Funky is actually right, it is definitely a pre-existing photograph that is not yours. By the way, I hadn't mentioned the case of the Alexander statue - that image must go too because its license is likewise misleading and it will probably soon be deleted. That wasn't your fault though. Fut.Perf. 07:00, 16 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Additional talk moved in my talk. NikoSilver 13:25, 16 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

References

Is it possible for you to send me the references for the quotes you give in your user page? I am not doubting them, it is just that I could not find them anywhere or in any language. Thanks. Politis 15:58, 16 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Second Montenegrin Wikipedia proposal

I have started up a second proposal on the Montenegrin Wikipedia, I think it should be time to restart it. If you want to vote, the link is: http://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Requests_for_new_languages/Wikipedia_Montenegrin_2

Just wanted to let you know. Thanks again. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by CrnaGora (talkcontribs) 06:37, 21 January 2007 (UTC).[reply]

Userpage again

Macedonia, you seem to be spending a lot of time recently putting political content on your userpage. Please re-read WP:USER, "what can I not have on my user page":

  1. Extensive discussion not related to Wikipedia
  2. Extensive personal opinions on matters unrelated to Wikipedia

I was going to tolerate those historical quotes, but the placename list is really something posing as an article when it isn't. Please consider cutting down on the politics on your page. Fut.Perf. 09:47, 22 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for uploading Image:Misirkov_i_potpis.gif. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

Images again

You now have a lot of images there that you once uploaded from www.exploringmacedonia.com. You uploaded those with a claim of "all copyrights released", but I cannot find any evidence on that site that this is indeed the case. The source website has a normal copyright reserved notice.

Please clean this up. I'm giving you a few days to identify all the images you took from that source and tag them correctly, otherwise they will be deleted. Given the nature of that site, you might actually have a chance writing to them and asking them for permission. If you get that (i.e. under GFDL or equivalent, including free commercial re-use!), you can forward the evidence to permissions (at) wikimedia.org, and everything will be fine. Fut.Perf. 19:52, 25 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for uploading Image:Folkloremk.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Thulium 13:14, 30 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned fair use image (Image:Alexander poster.jpg)

Thanks for uploading Image:Alexander poster.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you.
