Wikiproject Military history coordinator election nominations opening soon

Nominations for the upcoming project coordinator election are opening in a few hours (00:01 UTC on 1 September). A team of up to ten coordinators will be elected for the next coordination year. The project coordinators are the designated points of contact for issues concerning the project, and are responsible for maintaining our internal structure and processes. They do not, however, have any authority over article content or editor conduct, or any other special powers. More information on being a coordinator is available here. If you are interested in running, please sign up here by 23:59 UTC on 14 September! Voting doesn't commence until 15 September. If you have any questions, you can contact any member of the current coord team. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 17:51, 31 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Schierbecker. You've recently added the short form ref Zaloga 1995 to the Bradley Fighting Vehicle article, but no cite exists in the article to define what that means. Could you add the require cite, or let me know what work this refers to? -- LCU ActivelyDisinterested transmissions °co-ords° 13:54, 7 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Note that if the content is referenced, I'll revert it. -- LCU ActivelyDisinterested transmissions °co-ords° 15:45, 8 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I fixed it. Schierbecker (talk) 15:52, 8 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry going error blind, I do apologise. The article was still in the list of articles with errors because of a different reference. -- LCU ActivelyDisinterested transmissions °co-ords° 15:57, 8 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Correction to previous election announcement

Just a quick correction to the prior message about the 2022 MILHIST coordinator election! I (Hog Farm) didn't proofread the message well enough and left out a link to the election page itself in this message. The voting will occur here; sorry about the need for a second message and the inadvertent omission from the prior one. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 17:41, 15 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Category:Armoured fighting vehicles of South Vietnam indicating that it is currently empty, and is not a disambiguation category, a category redirect, a featured topics category, under discussion at Categories for discussion, or a project category that by its nature may become empty on occasion. If it remains empty for seven days or more, it may be deleted under section C1 of the criteria for speedy deletion.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself. Liz Read! Hello, I'm Mr.weedle. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Mobile Protected Firepower, but you didn't provide a source. I’ve removed it for now, but if you’d like to include a citation to a reliable source and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Mr.weedle (talk) 05:06, 19 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
