This is the wrong place to ask your question.
Really, it is. If you post here, then either:
  • You will innocently ask a question about, say, the Did you Know section, which does after all appear on the Main Page. You will be told your question "belongs" somewhere else. Possibly different places by different people. Nobody will be nice and re-post your question there for you, though; you'll have to do that yourself.
  • You will ask a genuine question about the Main Page that could only be asked here. You will be pointed to archive 42, where the issue you raise was discussed to death two years ago.   • You will notice that there are multiple topics related to subject X present on the page, and complain about Wikipedia's pro-X bias.
