"Scream" is the fifth single in the U.S. from Timbaland's second album, Shock Value . The song features R&B singers Keri Hilson and Nicole Scherzinger of The Pussycat Dolls. It was released to radio on December 11, 2007. It was released to the iTunes Music Store on February 24, 2008.

Music video

The music video for the song premiered on Yahoo! Music on January 15, 2008 and was directed by Justin Francis.

The video begins with Timbaland singing while being massaged and seduced by two women. It then shows cuts of Timbaland, Scherzinger and Hilson singing with and without Balaclavas under a car park. At the conclusion of the second chorus, Scherzinger is shown singing in an elevator while performing in front of a car with and without a robbery mask. The next scene displays Timbaland and his two friends planning a robbery with intercuts of Scherzinger, Hilson and Timbaland singing in front of a car. The video concludes with Timbaland and his two friends walking into the targeted house.

The video uses the radio edit version of the song.

Chart performance

"Scream" had its first appearance on the Sweden Singles Top 60 chart, first peaking number thirty-three then climbing number eight, but has fallen ever since. In the Canadian Hot 100 it began its run at number ninety-two and has since enjoyed a steady run, currently placing at number forty-four.

In Australia, it began its run in February, entering the top 50 at position forty-two, before moving up to number thirty-two. It has thus far peaked at #20. It had previously entered outside the top 50 at number fifty-six. It has currently peaked at number 22 on the iTunes Store Top 100. In Bulgaria it began at number forty and has stayed at number twenty-two for two weeks.

The New Zealand Top 40 had "Scream" debut at number thirty-two, and the track has since climbed to number 15.

The song is perched at number twenty and fifteen in the UK and Ireland respectively.
