László Szlávics (born August 11, 1959) a Hungarian sculptor and medallist. He publishes his works under the names (Hungarian: ifj. Szlávics László, or Szlávics László, ifj.) László, ifj. Szlávics or László, Szlávics Jr. or Laszlo Szlavics, Jr.

Biography

Between 1973 and 1977 he attended the Specialized Secondary School of Fine and Applied Arts, Budapest. After graduation his training was supervised by his father László Szlávics Sr. in his goldsmith's and sculpture workshop and the sculpture workshop of Agamemnon Makrisz. Since 1973 he lives and works in the one of the oldest community of artists at Százados Street in Budapest. Since 1995 he often designs coins for the National Bank of Hungary.

His specialty is medal design.
