Greetings, User:Ani medjool! I'm among the editors and readers of this, the English-language version of Wikipedia, who are unable to understand what's written on your User page. It would be a sincerely helpful gesture on your part to provide a translation in English, seeing as you do participate here on our collaborative editing work. You also might consider adding Babel boxes to your User page to foster communications. :If I may Deborahjay, Ani medjool's user page says "I am the truth and the truth comes from me" ... "Thanks be to god". However, the Arabic for the first sentence is very incorrect, and this is a translation based on what sense I can make of it.
:Ani medjool, I have been watching some of your edits at pages I have watchlisted since I welcomed you months ago. I've been holding off on commenting because I wanted to assume good faith. However, your edits have been very disruptive and disrespectful. Nominating articles associated with Israel for deletion that are obviously notable (by Wiki standards) is not acceptable. Also your commentary about Jews (who are not synonymous with Israel by the way) is disturbing (At first, I assumed it was due to a language problem, but having seen such comments a few times now, assuming good faith is hard to justify). I suggest you think about whether you are doing yourself or others a service by editing here in this fashion.
:Try to comment on content only on article talk pages. If you have problems with an editor, leave them a polite message on their talk page and if that doesn't lead anywhere, ask for advice on what to do next. I'm sorry if I have come off harsh, but I feel I need to be honest about how I see your contributions given that you said above we share the same perspective. To be clear, I don't share in the perspective I've seen you putting forth in article edits and talk page comments. I hope you will consider re-thinking how you approach editing here. I thought that some should welcome you before lobbing a series of warnings your way. That's kind of contrary to WP:BITE. Anyway, looking forward to seeing you around more. Tiamuttalk 10:02, 4 December 2008 (UTC)

I fully agree with about the need to avoid censorship. Unfortunately, here at Wikipedia, people can and do invoke WP:CONSENSUS, which is arguably just as important a policy as WP:NPOV. This means that people can refuse to agree to as to the suitability of a source or the inclusion of information in an article and even if we cannot understand why that is, we have to wait and discuss hoping they will change their minds, or compromise on using certain sources or words to get things moving again. Its a delicate balance and it can be very hard and frustrating in articles related to Israel-Palestine. I'm not saying that we are not right to pursue WP:NPOV or WP:RS, only that we do have to take WP:CONSENSUS into account. But I do agree with Ashley Y fundamentally, that when a source uses a term, we should use it, and not try to find "neutral" alternatives. "De-politicising" things is politicising them I think. Anyway, have a good evening. Tiamuttalk 01:15, 6 December 2008 (UTC)

thank you for you message. i am glad at least there are others who share same viewpoint as me. very frustrating. thanks for your note :-) Ani medjool (talk)

You're welcome. You might also want to check out WP:PALESTINE and WP:IPCOLL. I listed the debate about Hummus there after noticing another editor has listed it at WP:ISRAEL. I'm a member of all three wikiprojects, though I do tend to less active in the Israel one, for lots of complicated reasons, it would be best not to elaborate on here. (See WP:SOAP.) Anyway, take your time, look around, bring strong sources to support the material you want to include to articles and be WP:BOLD. All these rules and regulations are not here to prevent us from writing an encyclopedia together. There are they to help us to do it, weaving together all our different perspectives by putting together all the different things we bring to the table. So ahlan wa sahlan, my friend. Hi Ani - you made comments at Talk:Sark#Merge Little Sark about merging the article on Little Sark into the main one on Sark. I've made a few changes to the Little Sark article - could I ask you to have a look at it now, to see whether you still think it should be merged? Thank you, Grutness...wha? 22:35, 4 January 2009 (UTC)

Removal of PROD from Milky (pudding)

Hello Ani medjool, this is an automated message from SDPatrolBot to inform you the PROD template you added to Milky (pudding) has been removed. It was removed by OwenX with the following edit summary '(Undid revision 311563573; disputing non-notability claim. Product is very notable as article correctly notes. However, additional refs should be found)'. Please consider discussing your concerns with OwenX before pursuing deletion further yourself. If you still think the article should be deleted after communicating with the 'dePRODer,' you may want to send the article to AfD for community discussion. Thank you, SDPatrolBot (talk) 22:41, 3 September 2009 (UTC) (Learn how to opt out of these messages)

Recent Speedy Deletion Nominations

You recently nominated a number of articles & files to be speedily deleted, all exclusively involved Israeli companies or products. Please keep in mind that wikipedia is written from a Neutral Point of View. Thanks! --Nsaum75 (talk) 03:01, 13 October 2009 (UTC)

Plastro Irrigation Systems

I was able to add some references to Plastro Irrigation Systems to establish the company's notability. -- Eastmain (talk) 03:18, 13 October 2009 (UTC)

Commons files

This is the last warning you will receive for your disruptive edits. The next time you disrupt Wikipedia, you will be blocked from editing. Do not nominate a Commons file for speedy deletion. These files are used across many Wikipedias. All images that you nominated were correctly licenced. Any further nominations will be considered gross vandalism and dealt with accordingly. Your Speedy Deletion tag on the Acco Festival of Alternative Israeli Theatre

I was surprised at your nomination for Speedy Deletion of the page on the Acco Festival of Alternative Israeli Theatre. Perhaps you don't know that the topic is notable for being an enormously well-known and well-attended annual cultural and tourism event for thirty years and featuring many troupes from abroad as well as performers and festival-goers from Israel's Arab population (and certainly that of Akko). Much of the Festival's content and texts are in English as a lingua franca. The page had already been tagged for lacking citations of outside references, and that is now being taken care of. For your editing, please note:

 • Including an edit summary describing each edit action you take is a standard Wikipedia editing practice. Otherwise it's difficult if not impossible for other editors to understand your point.
 • Before deleting content, an article's Talk page is the place to discuss suggested changes.

If you have points to make about this article, your fellow editors will look for them on the Talk page -- Deborahjay (talk) 11:09, 13 October 2009 (UTC)
