The Military Court of Australia is a court of military justice for the Australian Defence Force set to commence in 2011. It replaces the previous and deemed unconstitutional Australian Military Court[1][2] and has legal grounding under Section 3 of the Australian Constitution. The structure of the court is still being drafted by the Australian Department of Defence and Attorney-General's Department and is expected to be finalised and introduced as a legislative bill to Parliament in 2010 and expected to be established by 2011.
