In her first bout in Japan, Lim was defeated by Japanese fighter Tomomi Sunaba by majority decision on October 7, 2006 (2006-10-07) at All Japan Kickboxing Federation event Cub*Kick's 3 days 1st - AJ Night: Tradition.[11][12]

At the event The Khan Series 1 in Seoul on March 30, 2008 (2008-03-30), Lim defeated Australian Muay Thai fighter Ashley in the third round, after breaking her nose, making the doctor stop the fight.[13][14][15][16]

Debuting in K-1, on March 20, 2009 (2009-03-20), Lim faced and defeated future shoot boxing champion Rena Kubota by split decision after an extra round at K-1 Award & MAX Korea 2009.[17][18]

At the event J-Girls: Catch the stone 6 on March 28, 2010 (2010-03-28), Lim defeated Satoko Sasaki by majority decision after an extra round.[26][27]

Lim was scheduled to fight against Ikue Tanimura on October 3, 2010 (2010-10-03) at K-1 World MAX 2010 -70kg World Championship Tournament Final 16 in Seoul but the match did not take place since Lim fell ill.[28][29][30]
