The article UKC France MAX 2010 has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- No evidence this event is notable, especially given the fact that every single person taking part in it is apparently a redlink.
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. TallNapoleon (talk) 06:08, 11 March 2010 (UTC)
The article Sudsakorn Sor Klinmee has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Reliable, verifiable, third party sources are required to assert the claims made in this article. The reference provided is a spam link to a commercial gym operated by the Sor Klinmee familu.

[edit]Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. Before saving your changes to an article, please provide an edit summary, which you forgot to do before saving your recent edit to Sudsakorn Sor Klinmee. Doing so helps everyone to understand the intention of your edit (and prevents legitimate edits from being mistaken for vandalism). It is also helpful to users reading the edit history of the page. Thank you. Kudpung (talk) 11:04, 13 September 2010 (UTC)
Please stop. Continuing to remove maintenance templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Sudsakorn Sor Klinmee, without resolving the problem that the template refers to may be considered vandalism. Further edits of this type may result in your being blocked from editing Wikipedia. Kudpung (talk) 11:05, 13 September 2010 (UTC)

Note about section ordering
[edit]Hi, Jimmy Peters. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. I have noticed that your additions have been using incorrect section ordering. In general, the proper order goes "See also", "References" (or "Footnotes, etc.), "External links", and finally navigation templates. See MOS:APPENDIX for details. Jason Quinn (talk) 17:30, 13 November 2010 (UTC)
That was quick. Was thinking of doing of page for this guy eventually but you beat me to it. If you can try to get as many references as you can (I usually add them in the biography session) because there always someone complaining about the validity of sources. Anyway, good to have another person contributing on the kickboxing pages, feel free to discuss any issues that arise.jsmith006 (talk) 15:18, 27 March 2011
Hi - I have created a page for this guy. I know you know alot about French Muay Thai so would be good if you have any additional info on Choplin e.g. earlier fights on the domestic scene etc. Cheers.jsmith006 (talk) 16:20, 25 April 2011

Hi jsmith, very good job ! As soon as I can, I'll get some more info about Gregory Choplin, who is one of the best 75kg French fighters ! Thank you very much.
Soon I will try to create other forms of top french fighters : Abderahmane Coulibaly, Abderahmane Penda, Charles François, Mickaël Peynaud, Cedrick Peynaud, Thomas Adamandopoulos, Steeve Valente, Johann Fauveau, Mickaël Lallemand, Moussa Konaté, etc... 15:45, 28 April 2011
IFMA European Championships 2011
[edit]Jimmy - hi. I noticed you updated Artem Levin's record with the results from the Euro championships - I was wondering if you know where I can get the full results from this event as I can only find winner info - want to update Andrei Kulebin's record as a result. Also, there is a Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Kickboxing which has just been re-activated and is a good way for editors to share ideas etc. CHeers. jsmith006 (talk) 18:50, 13 May 2011
I noticed you updated this guys record as a result of the Bennoui fight - thanks (very good fight apparantly but only watched main card - well done Lidon). Just be careful that you update the fighters stats (Mosab now has 6 losses instead of 5) and leave an edit note otherwise the records may get confused (see Mosab page). Cheers. jsmith006 (talk) 14:36, 15 May 2011
Hi Jimmy,
Someone's nominated some of your pages for deletion on the basis of references - you may want to put forth your opinion here Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Explosion Fight Night. We have lost several (notable) pages due to people who don't know anything about kickboxing nominating pages on the basis that there is no notable references e.g. major newspapers. jsmith006 (talk) 17:43, 25 May 2011
- Hi, Jimmy, just wanted to say your work is much appreciated on French muayhtai/fighters. so we do our best not to get these pages deleted.Marty Rockatansky (talk) 20:15, 25 May 2011 (UTC)
- Hi, Thank you guys, I'll see how to keep the explosion fight night pages on wikipedia. The only problem, my English is not perfectly..Jimmy Peters (talk) 12:20, 1 June 2011 (UTC)
- Hi, Jimmy, if you don't mind can you add some sources, just to keep it safe.ThxMarty Rockatansky (talk) 18:39, 2 June 2011 (UTC)

WikiProject Kickboxing update draft
[edit]As you may be aware, I have created a proposed update for the project here: User:Jfgslo/WikiProject Kickboxing draft
Could you please check the draft and give your comments about it? Only Marty Rockatansky and jsmith006 have been kind enough to check it and I really would appreciate more opinions to improve it. I want this project to become active once again so that kickboxing articles are improved and safe from deletion and then focus on having at least two featured articles. At the moment we cannot even cite the project to asses notability due to a lack of guidelines of the project. As I commented with Marty Rockatansky, contentious points will be left out of the update so feel free to criticize anything from the draft. Jfgslo (talk) 14:07, 2 June 2011 (UTC)
KOK Europe GP 2011 in Lublin
[edit]Another one of the kickboxing articles is up for deletion. It's not very good at the moment (needs references) but is a notable event and will be referenced once the event is up and running. If you've got time could you leave a comment - keep or delete. We seem to be having alot of problems at the moment with pages getting nominated left, right and centre. Go to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/KOK Europe GP 2011 in Lublin. Cheers. jsmith006 (talk) 16:19, 2nd June 2011
Jimmy - this guy fought Perry Ubeda a couple of times. The 1999 fight is ok but is the 1997 fight correct - I had created a page K-1 Fight Night '97 which said that Ubeda fought Sissoko Mousa is a super fight not for world titles???? This was from K-1.de so chances are it is incorrect. Can you clear this up for me. Thanks. jsmith006 (talk) 16:19, 3rd June 2011
Jerome Le Banner etc
[edit]Well done for finding the date for his ISKA title fight against Mike Bernardo in 1994. Just remember that when you update a fighter such as Le Banner's record you need to make sure that the other fighters record is changed as well - provided they have a blue link. Can you please check any other fighters you have updated so that there opponents records are ok - I will change Bernardo's. Thanks. jsmith006 (talk) 16:19, 3rd June 2011
Hi jmsith, sorry for this oversight, currently trying to find informations on jerome le banner fights before 1995. Jimmy Peters (talk) 14:58, June 17 2011
help
[edit]Jimmy, can you please help me with an opinion here? these guys are practically ruining our kickboxing database. SuperKombat is the former Local Kombat, which had a lot of notable fighters fighting in the promotion. please help! Cyperus
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/SuperKombat_World_Grand_Prix_I
they are really not fair, Kraus or others fought in the first WGP, it is covered by Eurosport and they made agreement with other televisions also. next WGP, the second, we will probably see Morosanu vs Manhoef, while there is a possibility at the start of 2012 for revenge at Ghita-Hari.
we must remain united! they also deleted the page with the kickboxing project in which i should have been also involved
Cyperus
Hi Cyperus,
I wish I could help you but my English is not good enough for me to take part in this conversation. I'm very sorry.
Upcoming interview with Benny Urquidez
[edit]I plan a direct interview with Benny "The Jet" Urquidez for publication within a few weeks. If you have any biographical questions that you would like answered for inclusion in his Wikipedia entry, please leave them on my talk page. Paul Maslak (talk) 23:03, 9 July 2011 (UTC)
WikiKick
[edit]I'd like to invite you to contribute on WikiKick. We could use some more contributors and it's much less of a hassle. We don't care about linking every single detail or references. We just want reliable people making a good kickboxing database that can help further advance the sport that we love. I've seen that numerous kickboxing pages have been nominated for deletion and in the end, it looks like a losing battle. I want WikiKick to become something everyone can go to for kickboxing.
Just to give you some background information, I write for Liverkick.com and I'm the director for WikiKick.

Hi
[edit]Dear Jimmy Peters,
Here I send the same message for User:Ryan.germany. Please see:
aw you advocated for the presence of martial arts articles. Thank you very much for your handle, mate. I'm so pissed-off with this fashion around. You know who are behind this, more less. Some good friends already quit here, which I seriously consider. I am thinking to fix this, somehow. May be strength up the contents up against this notability stuff. If you have any idea, please share your thoughts with me. If you like I can give you my email address, too. Best Regards mate, Umi1903 (talk) 11:39, 7 October 2011 (UTC)
Hi Umi1903, thank you for your support. I'm very disapointed for these articles on the martial arts that are deleted. For the moment I no longer creates on wikipedia but I do it again soon. Best Regards mate, JimmyPeters (talk) 09:55, 9October 2011 (UTC)
- Dear Jimmy, I'm in touch with Marty via email. We plan to make something decent, externally. I aslo try to get into touch with other martial arts volunteers at Wikipedia. Here I copy the message that I've sent User:WölffReik: Yeah, they know nothing about these sports and they can judge'em! This is insane. Anyway, mate, I'm in touch with some other users. They'd like to figure a new way out. We might unite and establish our own. Any helps would be very much appreciated. We please keep in touch. Please see my email and feel free to type to me, mate: umi1903 at gmail. Best Regards Umi1903 (talk) 12:28, 16 October 2011 (UTC)
The article Rungravee Sasiprapa has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, all newly created biographies of living persons must have at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.
If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. j⚛e deckertalk 17:07, 21 June 2012 (UTC)
There are no sources for this biography of a living person. Please add some independent reliable sources. Otherwise this page could be deleted and I'd rather not see that. Papaursa (talk) 03:26, 19 September 2012 (UTC)
