Jiabong is a 5th class municipality in the province of Samar, Philippines. According to the 2000 census, it has a population of 15,397 people in 3043 households.
Jiabong was created in 1948 from the barrios of Jiabong, Jiaan, Malino, San Fernando, Casapa, Camoroboan, Lologayan, Magcabitas Paglayogan, Dogongan, Bayog, and Malobago, formerly part of Catbalogan.[1]

Jiabong is politically subdivided into 34 barangays.
