Camalig is a first class municipality in the province of Albay, Philippines. At the time of the 2007 census, it had a population of 60,319 people in 11,275 households.
In 1952, there was a mass conversion of certain sitios into barrios, namely: Anoling, Binandirahan, Cabraran, Ilawod, Mabugna, Magogon, Quinuartilan, Solong, and Sumlang.[1]
Barangays
Camalig is politically subdivided into 50 barangays.
