Thank you for the barnstar and comments on my BLP, it's much appreciated! Crystal Clear x3

A barnstar for you!

The Writer's Barnstar
Well done with all the Fringe articles! I'm very surprised at the amount of content you've been able put out. And with real life things getting in the way of stuff, I'm happy that there are people still writing good episode articles. :) Sceptre (talk) 17:21, 8 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I can't take all the credit for the Lost articles; there are others such as thedemonhog who wrote some other articles, especially for seasons five and six where I did little. But I do realise how much the Doctor Who episode FAs (such as today's) have been used as models by other FA writers... Sceptre (talk) 22:20, 8 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I hope that my comments at your FAC nomination haven't dispirited you. When I look back at them I'm reminded of a (possibly) apocryphal tale I was told when I joined Sperry Univac as a young systems analyst.

A senior manager tasks one of his subordinates with producing a report on some new thing or other. A week later the report appears on his desk.

"Is that the best you can do?" says the manager to his underling?

"Well, no, if you give me another week I'm sure I could improve it."

A week goes by, and the underling submits his amended report. Once again he's called into his manager's office, to face the same question:

"Is that the best you can do?"

"Well yes, it is, and I don't think anyone could have done any better" replies the underling.

"OK, I'll read it now." Malleus Fatuorum 01:50, 9 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Re: Star Trek V FAC

I've made tweaks as per your comments, if you'd care to revisit I'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks for the review! Der Wohltemperierte Fuchs(talk) 17:34, 9 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

A barnstar for you! Re

Thank you so much for the barnstar! Sorry for the late response by the way; I've been very busy, even after I returned from my vacation (which is why I haven't really worked on any articles in a while). If you wonder why I haven't given you a barnstar yet, just wait until either the season 10 or season 13 topic drives are done. :)

Favor

I think Chuck Versus the Cliffhanger just got failed for featured article, with the main criticism being that it was hard for non-Chuck viewers to understand it. As an experienced user and non-Chuck viewer, would you mind looking through the article? Thanks. --Boycool (talk) 02:22, 16 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

If you don't want to, just tell me, and I'll move on. Thanks. --Boycool (talk) 17:35, 23 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hey, thanks for your advice. The quote is taken directly from the source, where it was already italicized and bolded. As for the photo of Chris Fedak, if I can't find a better one, would it be better to remove it altogether? By the way, congratulations on your FA promotion. --Boycool (talk) 02:47, 24 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I hate to bother you, but would you mind looking through the "Production" and "Reception" sections one more time and telling me if it's ready for FA? --Boycool (talk) 16:00, 26 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

How important were the DVD tidbits to Over There (Fringe)? Because, according to Wikipedia:Featured article candidates/The Beginning of the End (Lost), a commentary translates to about two sentences on Wikipedia. Will there really be a lot more revealed on the DVD than in Fedak's interviews or at Comic-Con? --Boycool (talk) 19:35, 26 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for your advice, but I'm going to choose not to take it in this case. Nothing personal, I've just seen the season multiple times and don't plan on buying it. Without your constructive criticism on Chuck Versus Santa Claus, I probably wouldn't have made it this far anyways. Happy editing. --Boycool (talk) 01:54, 28 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for leaving comments over at my True Grit FLC!

Much appreciated; I've adressed all of your comments. Crystal Clear x3 05:16, 18 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I have adressed your comments on the three sources's publishers and left some comments at your own FLC Crystal Clear x3 21:38, 18 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I've better clarified the linking/Box Office Mojo comments. Crystal Clear x3 22:14, 19 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
No problem, your list deserves FL status =). I'd also love to leave feedback on your FLCs as well! I actually have another accolades list at FLC now: [1] Crystal Clear x3 00:05, 20 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
And congrats on your first FA article! Crystal Clear x3 00:06, 20 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I've adressed your comments at the 127 Hours FLC; I ran into some problems with the sourcing via official websites. Crystal Clear x3 06:33, 20 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Just finished leaving comments over at that FLC now. The most brought up comments of mine were overlink and IMDb being used as a source. Crystal Clear x3 05:02, 21 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I've left my support after making some minor changes (regarding the box office totals) to the list, hope you don't mind. Crystal Clear x3 00:04, 22 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Featured Article promotion

Congratulations!
Thanks for all the work you did in making Over There (Fringe) a Featured Article! Your work is much appreciated.

In the spirit of celebration, you may wish to comment on another Featured article candidate... or perhaps review one of the Good Article nominees, as there is currently a backlog. Any help is appreciated! All the best, – Quadell (talk)

Barnstar

Thanks very much for the barnstar for Murder of Julia Martha Thomas! I'm glad you liked the article. Prioryman (talk) 22:42, 20 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

By the way, I have nominated the article for FA status - please see Wikipedia:Featured article candidates/Murder of Julia Martha Thomas/archive1. If you have any feedback it would be very welcome. Prioryman (talk) 19:41, 22 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Caroline of Ansbach

I'd like to try it out at FAC, after Friday. Would you be willing to co-nom? DrKiernan (talk) 17:02, 21 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

In the lead, what do you think is missing? DrKiernan (talk) 20:42, 21 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Oh yes, we need to add Frederick at least; I'll do that. DrKiernan (talk) 16:51, 22 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Goodbye

As of now, I am not really going to be around Wikipedia anymore. I wish you the best of luck here and with your FLCs. You're a great editor and I hope you keep up the great work. Crystal Clear x3 08:55, 24 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
