On December 21, 2010, Haryana Haryana Chief Minister, Mr. Bhupinder Singh Hooda had an aerial survey of the Kundli-Manesar-Palwal (KMP) Expressway and reviewed the progress of its construction work after that as per Haryana government construction company as assured that the 53km long stretch of the expressway from Manesar to Palwal will be completed by March 2011.<ref>Hooda Reviews Already Delayed KMP Expressway Progress[http://abclive.in/news/component/content/article/88-north-india/648-bhupinder-singh-hooda-kmp-expressway-progress-.html]</ref> However, the stretch had not opened for traffic even by November 2011 and may not be ready in the next six months. Delhi Western Peripheral Expressway, or Kundli-Manesar-Palwal (KMP Expressway), is 135.6 km long Expressway being constructed in Haryana, India. It was planned to become operational by June 2009[1]. but will not be ready even partially before 2012. The expressway will act as a Delhi bypass for traffic coming from north of Delhi on NH1 and going to south of Delhi on NH2.
