Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Twistor String theory may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "[]"s. If you have, don't worry, just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

List of unpaired brackets remaining on the page:
  • [[Topological string theory#B-model|Topological ''B'' model string theory]] in twistor space]<ref name=Witten group="Twistor String">{{cite journal|last=Witten|first=Edward|title=Perturbative

A tag has been placed on Template:Topics of twistor theory requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section T3 of the criteria for speedy deletion because it is a deprecated or orphaned template. Hello, Dimension10. I wanted to let you know that I’m proposing an article that you started, Ryan Rohm, for deletion because it's a biography of a living person that lacks references. If you don't want Ryan Rohm to be deleted, please add a reference to the article.

If you don't understand this message, you can leave a note on my talk page.

Thanks, - Blanchardb -MeMyEarsMyMouth- timed 01:17, 11 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

This is an automated message from MadmanBot. I have performed a search with the contents of Type HO string theory, and it appears to be very similar to another Wikipedia page: Type HE string theory. It is possible that you have accidentally duplicated contents, or made an error while creating the page— you might want to look at the pages and see if that is the case. If you are intentionally trying to rename an article, please see Help:Moving a page for instructions on how to do this without copying and pasting. If you are trying to move or copy content from one article to a different one, please see Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia and be sure you have acknowledged the duplication of material in an edit summary to preserve attribution history.

It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article.Template:Z125 MadmanBot (talk) 06:14, 11 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Bots don't understand string theory. They are just different compactifications of mismatched 16 dimensions so the pages are obviously going to be very similar. But anyway, I fixed it/ . And besides, they need to have a page of their own!Dimension10Bot (talk) 06:16, 11 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that you've added some links pointing to disambiguation pages. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Ryan Rohm (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver)
added a link pointing to Jeffrey Harvey
Type HO string theory (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver)
added a link pointing to State vector

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 10:55, 11 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Fixed it! Sorry.

Typography at Dirac equation

See [1]. People spend (waste) a LOT of time changing simple inline <math> expressions to HTML because it looks ugly to have LaTeX inline.

What is the point of changing to E?

It's an unnecessary waste of your own time to change HTML to <math> because people change <math> back to HTML eventually, only to have a pointless alternation between fonts. If the typography is not broken, please don't fix it. Thank you. M∧Ŝc2ħεИτlk 10:07, 12 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry, but HTML is always ugly (especially. for equations.) and Failed to parse (unknown function "\LaTeX"): {\displaystyle \LaTeX} is always elegant.
You talk as though your way is the right way and other people's preferences are the wrong way. I only meant HTML for simple inline expressions, not for displayed formulae where LaTeX should be used.
Anyway, given that your preferences over others are so important, it's up to you if you want to waste your time childishly changing inline HTML to <math> (for some reason you didn't do it elsewhere in the article, is it because it took too much time to do a few letters??).
The frustration is that there is simply no way to have consistent typography in WP articles, and improvement efforts are wasted as some people keep changing it to their way, while others try and keep to WP:MOS, WP:MOS#MATH, etc. No matter. Content is more important than making it look pretty. M∧Ŝc2ħεИτlk 16:03, 12 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
It is not about "My way" "Your way". It is about the elegance. I will read that Manual...

This article seems to be based on original research. Furthermore, I have a feeling that you meant to type "Townsend", although you do not explain where the term comes from. The references are all from works by a single author. I am going to tag this article for multiple issues. Please use the talk page to respond to my questions.Deb (talk) 14:38, 12 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

This is regarding http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User_talk:Dimension10#Townsed_string_theory. It is 'not' original reseach. It is something well-established in the early 1990s. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Dimension10 (talkcontribs) 14:43, 12 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

And yet no mention of it in any of the sources you quote.Deb (talk) 14:45, 12 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
There are 4 se[parate sources in the reference. Instead of talking irrelavant things, why not actually learn some string theory? And no, I did not mean "Townsend". Townsed is the name of a physicist, after which this string theory is named.
Please refer me to some information about this person supposedly named "Townsed". If you cannot do so, I will nominate this article for deletion. Deb (talk) 15:18, 12 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Buh, so you are just stuck with the name. Its Paul Townsed. Dimension10 (talk) 15:20, 12 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Oh, now I see what you are saying... You are pretty much talking about the name. It is Paul Townsend, yes you're right about the name (but wrong about everything else). I'll move the article. Dimension10 (talk) 15:22, 12 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Ok, noted. Since you're a bot, could you please ban all the users who talk about topics they don't know? Thanksl..
