Friday Download is a BAFTA award-winning British children's entertainment television programme, produced by Saltbeef Productions and airs on the CBBC Channel. It premiered on 6 May 2011 and has since produced five series, with a sixth series due to launch on 20 September 2013. The current presenting team consists of Dionne Bromfield, Aidan Davis, Shannon Flynn, Daniel Pearson, Ceallach Spellman and Richard Wisker.

Format

Friday Download is the instant download for the week ahead, featuring all the information you need to know in the world of dance, style, music, gaming, gadgets, film, TV and many others. Each hour-long episode consists of several segments, called 'downloads', most of which are fronted by a different presenter.

Presenters

It has been confirmed that Richard Wisker will return for the sixth series. He will be replaced by George Sear in series 7. All other presenters will stay the same. George will continue to be a guest presenter in series 6.

Jason Derulo joins the gang for the last show in the series, taking part in Hot or Not & Soundcheck Shout Out, as well as performing his new single The Other Side. Aidan is joined by Richard and Cel plus Jason Derulo to learn a move to Bruno Mars' Treasure in Dance Download, as well as taking part in a special Dance Off with Jason. It's the Face-Off final with Dionne vs Aidan. Aidan lost the series. The foreits were also revealed; they were: Richard eating olive/fish & cheese, Dionne giving her fellow presenters a foot massage, Shannon dressing up as Annie and singing 'Tomorrow', Danny shaving his hair, Cel singing Whitney Houston's I Will Always Love You with his mum & Aidan re-taking his French oral speaking test live on stage.
