You are welcome to continue editing without logging in, but you may want to consider creating an account. Doing so is free, requires no personal information, and provides several benefits such as the ability to create articles. For a full outline and explanation of the benefits that come with creating an account, please see this page. If you edit without a username, your IP address (184.58.24.163) is used to identify you instead.

In any case, I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your comments on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your IP address (or username if you're logged in) and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question and then place {{helpme}} before the question on this page. Again, welcome! --XLinkBot (talk) 02:05, 26 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Beauty and the Beast (soundtrack) may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "()"s and 1 "{}"s likely mistaking one for another. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

Thanks, BracketBot (talk) 04:18, 5 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent edits

Information icon Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button ( or ) located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 07:25, 23 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I realized that your edit wasn't vandalism right after I made the revert. --Jakob (Scream about the things I've broken) 23:44, 25 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm I am One of Many. I noticed that you recently removed some content from Red Forman without explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry: I restored the removed content. If you would like to experiment, you can use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks! I am One of Many (talk) 23:58, 25 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits, consider creating an account for yourself so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Talk:That '70s Show with this edit, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear constructive and has been reverted. Please make use of the sandbox if you'd like to experiment with test edits. Thank you.   — Jeff G. ツ (talk) 05:42, 26 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

block notice

Anonymous users from this IP address have been blocked temporarily from editing for abuse of editing privileges. If you have a registered Wikipedia username, you may log in and continue to edit. Otherwise, once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the following text below this notice: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}. However, you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.  - Barek (talkcontribs) - 05:45, 26 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

First of all I was not doing anything wrong, except trying to reach a consensus. Second, this user was making threats to me and I am very uncomforted by it and would appreciate it if he was either talked to or blocked himself for making threats when he was wrong in the first place. Seems to me an abuse of administrative powers if you ask me, first of all if your an admin on any site you should no better then to threaten anyone on any website, yet it is okay for an admin to threaten an IP address and not only get away with it but block the IP address, especially when they the admin were in the wrong? There was another conversation for the same reason over Laurie Forman on the same talk page and yet that is okay but when I do it it is not? Seems to me that it is discrimination because I am under an IP address and not a user and that is unfair! So my block was unjustified and there is no wrong in removing stuff that has nothing to do with the discussion nor is it wrong to keep the discussion where it should be so if anyone should be blocked it should be User:Barek not me. Thanks and thanks for the unblock! 184.58.24.163 (talk) 5:52 am, Today (UTC+0)

Decline reason:

Looks pretty justified to me; you were repeatedly blanking information after being told to stop. Blocking is par for the course in such situations. Barek hasn't threatened you at all (and it would be irrelevant to your unblock request even if he had). Please read the guide to appeals before filing an unblock request again. Addendum You don't get to revert refused unblocks that you disagree with. If you do so again, your talkpage access will also be removed. Take that as a threat if you must, but don't ever revert an unblock refusal again. Yunshui  09:13, 26 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

You were not blocked for starting the discussion on the talk page. You were blocked for blanking discussions after having received multiple warnings to stop. The other discussion you reference was not disputed after three months of being on the talk page, so no AfD was needed.
I took no position whatsoever in the discussion that you initiated, only agreeing with the comment that an AfD should be done for the article you wished to redirect. You repeatedly blanked the portions of the active discussion to which you disagreed (ie: the comments suggesting to use an AfD) and ignored warnings that such disruption can result in a block. And yes, selectively archiving portions of an active discussion to which you disagree counts as blanking. --- Barek (talkcontribs) - 06:05, 26 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

You mean you made multiple threats. 184.58.24.163 (talk) 07:30, 26 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I am sorry but saying "you will be blocked" is not a warning it is a threat. It is surprising that people are allowed to get away with threatening people on here, particularly an admin and be allowed to get away with calling it a warning. 184.58.24.163 (talk) 07:33, 26 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Also saying "your account can be blocked" is a threat as well. 184.58.24.163 (talk) 07:36, 26 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Whatever; how else can an admin (or anyone else) warn people of the consequences of their inappropriate behavior without saying what those consequences are? If you wish to call it a threat, that's fine, but it's also completely within Wikipedia's policies and social structure. --jpgordon::==( o ) 09:12, 26 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
No, Baker pretty much told me to do as he said or get blocked and that is wrong. So do not put your comment on things you know nothing about.
Also, if I do not get unblocked within the next 24 hours I will just switch my IP address and continue editing anyway and dare you all to prove it is me. Thanks! 184.58.24.163 (talk) 09:53, 26 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I have undone your strikethrough of Jpgordon's comments above - do not refactor other editor's talkpage comments. Threatening to engage in sockpuppetry is not going to help your unblock request. Yunshui  09:59, 26 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
184.58.24.163 - As can be seen in the talk page history, my warnings were quite clearly stated: blanking the discussions was disruptive and the consequence of not heeding that warning was also clearly stated, that it could result in a block if the blanking continued, and you were warned multiple times to stop that disruption before I carried through on the consequences of not heeding the warning. You were free to continue the discussions, and free to take or leave the advice to use an AfD (although it was clear that no consensus existed for an immediate redirect without one). The block is only for 72 hours (less than 60 still remaining), you are welcome to continue contributing to articles and discussions at that time, provided you stop the disruptive behavior. --- Barek (talkcontribs) - 16:35, 26 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm Walter Görlitz. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Spitfire (LeAnn Rimes album), but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. You might want to check WP:RS. The reprint of http://www.hittingalltherightnotes.com/2013/09/leann-rimes-birmingham.html at http://www.leannrimesworld.com/news/178263 is still a user review: "Mon, Sep 16, 2013 at 10:46 AM by User" and it's self-published. It does not meet the threshold of RS. If you would like to have my opinion challenged, to it at WP:RSN not in the article. Walter Görlitz (talk) 02:04, 3 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
