Melody Day is a three-member South Korean girl group formed in 2012 by Veiwga Entertainment, who officially debuted in 2014.

Biography

Melody Day started their career in 2012 as soundtrack singers for dramas. They performed "I Have a Person That I Love" for Pretty Man,[1] "All About" for Master's Sun, of which was also made the music video, and "Like Back Then" for My Daughter Seo-young, which was nominated as Best OST at the Seoul International Drama Awards.[2] On June 26, 2013, they released the ballad "Loving Alone", included in the single album New Wave Studio Rookie, Vol. 1.

The group always worked without appearing in public until the official debut, which took place on February 25, 2014, with the first mini-album and single Another Parting, whose en:title_track|title track was used in the soundtrack of the web drama of the same name with Seo In-gook and Wang Ji-won.[3] In April, they performed an acoustic cover of A Pink's "NoNoNo".[4]
