:Check [[Wikipedia:WikiProject Astronomy/Article ratings]], this wikiproject accepts the redirects. I had at least 3 of them on my watchlist because I had solved multiple errors of those pages. Later I got to know that some of the users had created many non-notable minor planet pages. Fram redirected each of them to the main article. They cannot be classified as 'stub/low' anymore. Speedy deletion nomination of 84.13.33.81

Why no, I've never heard of the Sandbox. I've only been editing here since early 2005, during which I've accumulated only 101,000 edits. What's the Sandbox, Geppetto? ;-)

Seriously, I accidentally wikilinked a user's talk page without writing "user talk:" in the wikilink, apparently. Thanks for tagging that page. Nightscream (talk) 18:11, 1 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Special:NewPagesFeed shows those details. I know it was funny, welcome anyway ;-) OccultZone (TalkContributionsLog) 18:24, 1 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Inline citation means citing using cite in the edit box? that means providing ref name, author, newspaper, date etc?--Vin09 (talk) 05:41, 2 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

It means using citations with appropriate code, for website it is {{cite website, for book it is {{cite book| OccultZone (TalkContributionsLog) 07:34, 2 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for reviewing Birdwell Primitive Methodists F.C., OccultZone.

Unfortunately SantiLak has just gone over this page again and unreviewed it. Their note is:

@SantiLak: I saw you had reviewed back, but remember that I am not the creator of that article. OccultZone (TalkContributionsLog) 06:07, 5 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Super sorry that was my bad I hit that review button on accident and it sent the automated thing. Total mistake, sorry again. - SantiLak

Previous Speedy Deletion of World Spiritual Foundation

@OccultZone. I noticed you marked a page, World Spiritual Foundation, for speedy deletion on the talk page of User talk:Lordmehershivpuri. It appears to be back in the last five days, by the same user. Did the speedy deletion not go through? I just nominated it for ordinary AfD. Did not know it may pass as Speedy Delete. Can you take a look? Tajudin69 (talk) 21:56, 5 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

instrumentalism

Hi. You appear willing to talk content, while I--a newby--have gotten hung up in editing technicalities. Please tell me if you found something interesting in my now-reverted edits of Instrumentalism, or in my talk explanations of my edits, or in the restored version. Then tell me what you found interesting or questionable. Many thanks.TBR-qed (talk) 14:16, 6 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Jacob Rinne

Hey OccultZone,

I noticed that you approved my creation of the Jacob Rinne English wiki page. Thanks!

When I try to link his page with the Swedish version it tells me there is an "An unexpected error occurred. $1" and then in the Details it says "invalid token". Surely it doesn't cost money to link pages in another language right? Am I doing something wrong? Thanks for help. Rupert1904 (talk) 18:17, 6 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

@Rupert1904: What you were actually copying? OccultZone (TalkContributionsLog) 18:22, 6 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I clicked on the add links button in the language section, selected Svenska and then typed in his name in the box provided. It found his name/Swedish page and then the unexpected error occurred. Rupert1904 (talk) 18:33, 6 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

@WereSpielChequers: What you think about this ^^ ? It is a bug? OccultZone (TalkContributionsLog) 17:11, 7 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

You wrote an article about Lt General Marion Boswell. Could you please contact me -- I knew him. Are you associated with him in any way (e.g. family?). He didn't have any children. Thanks. 122.61.196.246 (talk) 20:38, 10 September 2014 (UTC)Gregg Smith[reply]

Help

If you can see page history and this edit the user is not able to understand my point and kept on reverting, I even reported to admin, he is removing the referenced content and adding his own research. I had reverted to the version from 7th September. It seemed non-controversial and Qwertyus agreed with that version. I know that number of editors have got special interest with this article. OccultZone (TalkContributionsLog) 12:46, 14 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Sock?

I have reasons to believe that Ipooll7 is a sock of Ravishyam Bangalore. The only edits that Ipoll7 has made are to Talk:Aadhaar and Ravishyam's talk page which was the first edit. Any thoughts?  LeoFrank  Talk 12:48, 18 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

@LeoFrank: There is some difference in their behavior. Ravishyam Banglaore's writings could be considered as WP:ATTACK, he frequently used words like "vandalizing", "corrupt people", etc. Ipoll7's first edit, as seen here on User talk:Ravishyam Bangalore#Please leave it, it appears to be civil. Ipoll7 is just concerned about Aadhaar and its related issues. Thanks for checking the page. OccultZone (TalkContributionsLog) 13:05, 18 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Well. My doubt is how Ipoll7 landed on Ravishyam's talk page and ended up giving advice on Aadhar. FWIW, Ipoll7 could still be a sock by trying to act different (I have seen such socks ). Ipoll7 could also be a WP:MEAT. Only a CU would be able to confirm this. :)  LeoFrank  Talk 13:11, 18 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
He had been brought there, check Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Bhutes/Archive. Behavioral evidence was compelling, technical investigation made it clear that IPs are not matching. Even then it could be insisted that meat-puppetry may have been carried out. Lets wait, I am sure he will try again. OccultZone (TalkContributionsLog) 13:24, 18 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Murder of Helen jewett

Hello, Please help, can you or would you kindly answer these questions on your page for the "Murder of Helen Jewett"?

1) What is the masculine youth culture that Cohen describes? Why is it important for her analysis of Jewett’s murder?
2) What role did newspapers play in the narrative?
3) What were the expectations for women during the early 19th century? What were the realities for women in an urban center like Manhattan?
4) What were the different reactions to prostitution? How did they impact the reactions to Helen Jewett’s murder?
5) Why was Helen Jewett’s personal history so fascinating for 19th century readers?
6) What kinds of things did the lawyers focus on during the trial? Why? (Pay attention to things like class and “respectability.”)
7) What was the outcome of the trial? Do you think that the jury came to the right decision? Why do you think they came to the decision they did?
8) What is Cohen’s argument? What kinds of evidence does she rely on to prove it? Is she successful? Why or why not?

There are no spark notes and a few students could use it in women's history classes. Thank you. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Enr1g (talkcontribs) 14:57, 18 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Can be read from here → [2], Cohen was talking about Jewett's background. OccultZone (TalkContributionsLog) 15:06, 18 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Coolie (1983 Hindi film) may have broken the syntax by modifying 2 "[]"s. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

Al jadiid supermarket

Hi. I've declined your speedy as it's not nonsense. I've retagged it as spam, however. It's in Somali, and advertises a supermarket very badly. (Doesn't even say where it is...) Anything with lots of w, x and double vowels is likely to be Somali. The x is a hard h sound, so the Prophet is Maxamed in Somali. Peridon (talk) 11:48, 29 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks! I have read the deletion summary. I had thought of A1, but wasn't sure. Just tagged Zgara Korçare "aroma e shijes" with G11, check? OccultZone (TalkContributionsLog) 13:07, 29 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
That one's Albanian and definitely spam. Nonsense at CSD means things like 'gutfyfthggfcgfgg' which are unpronounceable in any language, or things in English like 'grimly pothole fourteen archaic pasta downflux' which wouldn't even be acceptable to a Surrealist poetry club. You do have to be careful with machine translations. The further from English the language is, the worst it gets. You can usually get enough to tell what's going on, though. Peridon (talk) 15:25, 29 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Sounds to be right, thanks for the heads up. OccultZone (TalkContributionsLog) 15:30, 29 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Help with edit

Hi there,You revised the edit I made on https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Arvind_Iyer&action=history .All I did was change counter-intelligence to counterintelligence which is the right term and filmmaker to Film Director and Political Analyst to Counterintelligence analyst which are the right terms. The term Brahmin added to Hindu alongside Religion is an important ethnic identification for Indians. It needs no source ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Iyer) the subject's last name identifies his case which in this case is Brahmin. Is it possible for you to change it back?thank you.(Chriswilkins (talk) 03:51, 30 September 2014 (UTC))[reply]

@Chriswilkins: Nothing wrong with other counterintelligence, but if you are talking about using the term "Brahmin" for describing him, it will require self confirmation. Furthermore, Brahmin is not a religion, it is a caste. OccultZone (TalkContributionsLog) 04:04, 30 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

What exactly is self confirmation ? How is that information relayed to you? thanks (1.39.2.240 (talk) 08:02, 30 September 2014 (UTC))[reply]

You need a source where Arvind Iyer has himself confirmed that he is a Brahmin. Just having a surname is not enough. OccultZone (TalkContributionsLog) 08:05, 30 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

If there is some information that needs to be added to the page, how and where must it be sent? Thanks (1.39.2.240 (talk) 08:11, 30 September 2014 (UTC))[reply]

You can write on Talk:Arvind Iyer. OccultZone (TalkContributionsLog) 08:18, 30 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
