Plot outline

The story is based on real life incidents, Plot opens up to the lives of two primary characters, a girl from Peshawar and a London settled Pakistani boy who apparently falls in love with the girl. Synopsis

[16]Shoaib is single,he's a doctor and has a successful practice in Holland.Till he falls for the wrong girl, in the wrong place.Sana entices and ensnares Shoaib and when she knows that he is well and truly in her grasp, repeatedly prompts him to come to Peshawar, to get back to his roots, his home town but especially to meet her. When finally he makes plans to travel from Holland to Pakistan, to visit her, he sees her getting kidnapped on video chat right before his eyes.

Then begins a mad race to locate Sana before she is harmed by her kidnappers. Armed only with a picture that might be a potential clue to finding Sana, Shoaib travels to Peshawar trying to find her day and night, going street to street. Production

The telefilm budget was 4 million and was shot one and a half years ago in United Kingdom, Holland and Pakistan, with 70% of the production in Peshawar.[18] Musicians including Fortitude, Khumariyaan,[19] Junaid kamran siddique and the duo of Naseer and Shahab have contributed tracks for Project Peshawar..[20]

The film was released on August 20, 2017 in Peshawar through a grand premiere and received huge attention with positive feedback across province Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Pakistan.[23]But film-maker irshu bangash told the The Express Tribune that there have been people from the local entertainment industry who are trying to sabotage the film, but soon hitting theaters like National college of arts lahore, Pacific Northwest College of Art and all across Pakistan, and will be exhibited at the Rotterdam, London, Switzerland and Toronto Film festivals. .[24]
