Firangi (English: Foreigner)[4] is an upcoming Indian Hindi-language period action-comedy drama film set in the year 1920. It is directed by Rajiev Dhingra. The film stars Kapil Sharma, who is also the producer, along with Ishita Dutta and Monica Gill. The film was shot primarily in Punjab and Rajasthan. It will be released on 24 November 2017 by Sharma's K9 Films.[5][6]

Release

The film was initially set to release on 10 November 2017, however on 12 October 2017 it was announced that the film would be releasing on 24 November 2017.[16][17]

Soundtrack

On 27 September 2017, it was officially revealed that Rahat Fateh Ali Khan has recorded a song entitled "Sahiba Russ Gayiya" for the film. The song also has a different rendition by Shafqat Amanat Ali and Neha Bhasin. Kapil Sharma agreed on 24 September 2017 to sing an "unplugged" version of the song.[18][19]

The film soundtrack will be released by Zee Music Company.
