Since the last newsletter sent out in August, there's been great changes. Read on to find out! AMP NHL Winter Classic - September 22, 2007, authored by User:Skudrafan1 ..that the AMP NHL Winter Classic is scheduled to be the first regular-season outdoor National Hockey League game in the United States? Featured Topic Drive By Maxim Started by User:Scorpion0422, the aim of this drive is to make NHL awards a featured topic. A featured topic is basically a set of very high quality articles (good articles and featured articles/lists). In this case, the topic is NHL awards. Many users have helped, including Scorpion0422, Resolute, Serte, Hasek is the best, Maxim, Croat Canuck, Spike Wilbury, FutureNJGov, and T Rex/Dinosaur puppy. The progress has been very good; there are 12 featured lists promoted, and 2 good articles: Hart Memorial Trophy (Scorpion) James Norris Memorial Trophy (Scorpion) Vezina Trophy (Scorpion) Conn Smythe Trophy (Serte) Frank J. Selke Trophy (FutureNJGov) Lady Byng Memorial Trophy (Scorpion) Lester B. Sweden's football women and the Olympics

Hi Jeff!

I was just looking for the source that stated that Sweden and Denmark would play a play-off when I found two colliding press releases: UEFA says indeed that Sweden has qualified whereas FIFA had stated before the tournament that in the case that has arrived now there would be a play-off. So as there there are two different releases: what to do?

Benders

Hi, the articles you mention do not state that the players have actually played in the first team or I wouldn't have PRODded them. The articles don't give any information about first team appearances, should they do so they would clearly meet the notability criteria. Without stating that they have played the articles do not asset notability. I hope this answers your question. English peasant 19:37, 29 February 2008 (UTC)

J.D. Watt has been declined at WP:AFD. Drafts related to the OHL have been published! Task forces By The Pancake of Heaven! We are working to create a new task force within the WikiProject to deal with topics related to the Pittsburgh Penguins. It hasn't been created yet; but it aims to expand articles based on former and current Pittsburgh Penguins players and articles. Good luck! New Administrators Currently 0 promoted admins! Be the first one at WP:RFA. Featured Topic Drive By Maxim The original featured topic drive, initiated by Scorpion0422, has concluded succesfully. National Hockey League awards is now a featured topic, with 24 articles in total. Of them, 20 are featured lists, one is a featured article, and the other three are trophy articles that were too short to become featured lists. Eight users signed up to help out, shown here. The next Featured Topic hasn't been decided upon, and the ideas and organization for it fell apart. If you have any ideas, don't hesitate to share them at WT:HOCKEY. More task forces and subprojects: As this WikiProject covers a very large topic area, it is helpful to add more task forces that focus on specific aspects of Germany. Currently, we have a Mainz task force, a Munich subproject and some joint task forces with other WikiProjects. Any project member is invited to start a new task force. Suggestions for possible topics: Transportation in Germany German politics (the political system of Germany and the biographies of its politicians) German Democratic Republic Be creative! Project news Cities and municipalities task force The task force dedicated to creating and improving articles on all German cities and municipalities is happy to announce that there are now (at least) stub articles for all municipalities of Germany. Now the task force is looking for help in fleshing these out a little bit. The current phase of activity for the task force is to copy in infoboxes from the articles in German Wikipedia. If you want to help, even just for a few articles, look at the instructions and links here Article Assessment: There are now way over 26.000 articles tagged as part of our Wikiproject and many still need either an importance or a quality assessment. Also there are many more out there that do need to be tagged like approx 8000 municipalities. If you would like to help take a browse through Articles needing Importance assessment or Articles needing a basic quality assessment.

DFB Pokal 2007-08

I need an explanation or apologize about your revert on UEFA Cup 2008-09 article. The two teams of the DFB Pokal final are Bayern and Dortmund, but your revert shows that Dortmund won the DFB Pokal.
