About me

I am MuZemike. I have been editing on the English Wikipedia since May 31, 2008 and have over 50,000 edits in my name (according to "My preferences") and over 10,000 mainspace edits. I also have been an administrator since 14 September 2009 (see RFA) and a CheckUser since 1 September 2010. I can also be found from time to time at Wikimedia Commons and on the various Wikipedia-related IRC channels on Freenode.

I generally self-identify as a precisionist and a mergist as far as mainspace philosophy is concerned, and I do some work in merging articles to make fuller, better quality articles; information ideally should all be in one place and not scattered throughout multiple places. I also believe in following the steps in WP:BEFORE before going the deletion route with articles as well as proposing articles for deletion before I go to WP:AFD. I think if everyone followed these steps, there would be far fewer AFD discussions and drama as all the homework is already done and properly.

• User:Anomie/linkclassifier.js and User:Anomie/linkclassifier.css are great ways to color-code links to articles by type (i.e. stub, dab, redirect, marked for deletion, etc.).
