Hello! I've been wanting to do an administrator review for some time, and after completing some tasks I wanted to get done first, I'm now filing one. Without wanting to boast or anything, I think I'm a decent admin, but more opinions on that are welcome. :D I've been an admin since July 2007. Thanks. Acalamari 09:24, 18 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

  • I always think it reflects well when an administrator participates here, so let me first say thank you for doing so. I try to keep track of anything where administrators do something I feel needs improvement, and I've never noticed anything about you, so I'll just say keep up the good work! --Tryptofish (talk) 18:41, 19 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  • I will be listing my own entry on this page soon, so I feel obligated to help out on the review process. Thankfully, my first opportunity is an easy one. You were one of the first editors to influence my experience on this project. I am pleased to see no change in your patience in dealing with others and positive, welcoming demeanor. I found solid, policy based admin actions and dedicated, gnomish general contributions in my review. Your activity on several admin fronts makes me feel very lazy and will certainly prompt me to improve my own efforts. Thanks for your good work. • I interacted with Acalamari years ago when I was more active on Wikipedia but I did have good experience with him. Besides the fact that his name would make me hungry as I would crave for fried calamari, he was often helpful and was involved in reverting vandalism and taking care of problem users. Not to mention that Acalamari even turned me into a rollbacker! November Hotel Romeo Hotel Sierra Two Zero One Zero 02:51, 29 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  • Acalamari, you are—without a doubt—the best person I have ever interacted with, period. You are courteous, hard working and generous and are one of the most valuable Wikipedians we have. You're a fine example to others and an inspiration to your fellow Wikipedians. I would dearly love to see you as a Bureaucrat, Arbitrator, WMF board member or any other position where you could have more influence on how things are run, as I believe this would greatly benefit the community. Of course that's only if you are interested in giving that much more of yourself. I do want to thank you for your generous contributions and all the people you have helped. Thanks very much. - Hydroxonium (TCV) 15:23, 4 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  • I think you have been doing a great job. Bearian (talk) 16:55, 11 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  • You where pretty quick in responding on Denisarona's talk page after I left that suggestion there, which is pretty great for me to see an admin doing. Cheers, Crazymonkey1123 (Jacob) T or M/Sign mine 17:44, 2 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  • Firstly, I do not see why you should be doing this. Having said that, I have interacted with you in many ways over the years. You initially, and as things appeared corrctly, initially !voted against my rfa. (On explanation, you redacted). I was instrumentally significant in your approval for the admin tools, and we have been frequently in contact since. In my opinion, having from time to time followed your activity, you are a first class admin, and one who could sensibly be used as a role model for those aspiring to the position. Now stop this nonsense and get on with your job!! --Anthony Bradbury"talk" 20:44, 9 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  • A very important administrator indeed. I was wondering why I even see a page like this; you are one of the 'rare' friendly administrators. That said, you are quite straightforward and do what Wikipedia tells you to. "Friendly whenever possible, strict when there is a need". →εϻαdιν ΤαΙk Ͼδητrιβμτιoης 10:32, 2 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  • A good honest sensible administrator. Please stay as an administrator. Regards IJA (talk) 16:15, 21 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  • From everything I've seen, you've got my vote. FWiW Bzuk (talk) 13:43, 25 December 2011 (UTC).[reply]
  • Just randomly popping by after i saw you blocked the author of this. Keep up the good work Cheers, benzband (talk) 22:02, 23 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • A wonderful and well-respected administrator ~ not one issue comes to mind with their editing. What I find surprising, is that they've had this review for nearly 10 months! and taking a look at all the positive comments, commending their top notch progress - this review really should be a subpage to their impressive barnstars page. Keep up the excellent work! Hope to work with you on the project one day. Regards, -- MSTR (Chat Me!) 10:58, 7 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
