- I said "Best who?" because you didn't sign your comment, so there's nothing after "best," and I joked "Best who?" I guess it made more sense in my head. Moneytrees🏝️Talk/CCI guide 21:41, 1 July 2021 (UTC)

Unfortunately there's thousands, even tens of thousands, more articles that aren't basic prose compared to the Dr. Blofeld CCI. I may have to turn up the settings somewhat, but that's only partial relief. What's the plan?
Addendum: I think I can eliminate another few thousand articles by turning up the settings. MER-C 19:24, 14 March 2021 (UTC)
- MER-C, I'm thinking of having a survey team (there's 5 or so people on discord who could help with it) over it for a few days and then filling out my guide off of that. I'll do what I did with the Blofeld CCI guide, but won't make the mistakes I made with that one. Moneytrees🏝️Talk/CCI guide 15:13, 15 March 2021 (UTC)
- Second pass completed, over 10000 articles removed. Ugh, I really don't want to do this again. MER-C 20:46, 15 March 2021 (UTC)
- I've released this to the regulars. It turns out the very last article in the CCI is a vio. The only thing I can think of is... have fun! MER-C 12:01, 13 April 2021 (UTC)

- @Gerda Arendt "
I edit here when I have nothing else to do, just for fun
" I removed that from my userpage a few months ago. I wonder why I edit here now... Moneytrees🏝️Talk/CCI guide 05:45, 28 November 2021 (UTC)- I edit here to not let the work of some who died or were banned go to waste (as you kindly said three years ago). Thank you for the fly now on your user page. I edit here also to remind of subjects who died, for their legacy. For both reasons: In Freundschaft. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 07:54, 28 November 2021 (UTC)

Manhattan Beach Jewish Center
Hi. Were my edits to Manhattan Beach Jewish Center removed for some factual reason or do I need to reword to avoid copyright issues?
Yours, 107.127.46.26 (talk) 04:34, 28 November 2021 (UTC)
- Yes, the issue was that parts of your addition were too closely phrased, while other parts of it were directly copied from the source. Moneytrees🏝️Talk/CCI guide 05:43, 28 November 2021 (UTC)
- I will attempt to reword again, in good faith, to address those issues. I do not wish to be -- in any way -- out of copyright compliance. Thanks. 107.127.46.8 (talk) 07:16, 28 November 2021 (UTC)
DRN Case Filed and Closed
For your information, BranderChatfield filed a case at the Dispute Resolution Noticeboard concerning the material that they had inserted into LGBT history in North Dakota and that you redacted. I closed the case because of lack of notice to you and lack of discussion, but more importantly because DRN is not a forum for copyright issues, and copyvio material is never restored. Either they will ask to discuss it, or they won't. Robert McClenon (talk) 23:39, 28 November 2021 (UTC)

I took the time to read the things you sent me. I will do my best to comply. I wrote this some days ago but I think you didn't see it.
Regarding the instances of copy-paste you warned me about three times already, an explanation is in order:
- I actually translated the information about the LAPA rifle directly from Portuguese; the similitude being the product of the technical nature of the article, and it being the same document translated in the Forgotten Weapons article.
- The second flagging was more of a coincidence. My edit on Iraqi logistics was actually taken from the book Arabs at War, by the same author - Dr. Kenneth Pollack. Reading the link you sent me, it really does look like the way I phrased it - book, article.
- The third case was an oversight on my part. I just wanted the treaty's name in Arabic and intended to merge it with the information from Lt.-Colonel Malovany's Wars of Modern Babylon and Dr. Shemesh's Soviet-Iraqi Relations, 1968-1988. I received a phone call and had to leave home to attend personal matters. When I came back, I forgot about it and just worked on the operations in Samaria and Jenin. Those two paragraphs should have never been posted with the edit and were supposed to form a different section about the Baghdad Pact.
As I understand the reaction and punishment were both justified, regardless of the circumstances, I still wish to contribute with the project.
