The Beatles: Get Back Tour was the fourth concert tour by English rock band The Beatles. It was in support of their twelfth studio album Get Back released on 22 August 1969. It was their first worldwide tour, with legs in North America, Europe, Asia and Oceania. It started at the Royal Albert Hall in London on 8 November 1969 and ended at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles on 26 July 1970. It grossed over $64,472,007.62 ($450,257,491 adjusted for inflation), making it the eighth highest-grossing tour in history.

Background

Following the rooftop concert on 30 January 1969, the Beatles began planning their comeback worldwide tour for late 1969 into 1970. The tour would start shortly after the release of their twelfth studio album Get Back, for which the tour was named after. The tour would be the first concert tour for the Beatles since their 1966 tour of the United States. The tour would be the first tour by the Beatles to use backing tracks, mainly because for songs such as Within You Without You which were originally not intended to be performed live and contained many elements that were difficult or impossible to perform live.
