Isn't Emmett the correct spelling? Charles Matthews 12:02, 7 Nov 2004 (UTC)

I've checked the Oxford DNB and they have him as "Frederick Rowland Emett", but note that his birth certificate says "Frederick Roland". Probably more redirects need to be set up. David | Talk 23:24, 28 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

The image File:Chitty3.jpg is used in this article under a claim of fair use, but it does not have an adequate explanation for why it meets the requirements for such images when used here. In particular, for each page the image is used on, it must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Please check

  • That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for the use in this article.
  • That this article is linked to from the image description page.

Society websites

I have noted that the Rowland Emett Society website is a dead link, and provided a Wayback Machine link for the last 'full' version in 2019.

I have also linked to the society's blog, which is still live, though not active since 2015. Wikipedia warned me about using Blogspot links; I am satisfied that the blog is relevant and reliably sourced. -- Verbarson  talkedits 21:31, 14 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
