This the original sentence: Philippines In the Tagalog language mermaids are nown as sirena and siyokoy respectively.[225]
It SHOULD be: Philippines In the Tagalog language mermaids and mermen are known as sirena and siyokoy respectively.[225]
Basically there's one spelling mistake and an error of omission (the word mermen is missing)
